I spend my summers in front of the TV nursing a brewskie, sitting in my underwear shorts, swatting flies and patting my wife on the fanny while endlessly smoking unfiltered camels.
Occasionally I got outside and sit on the porch in my rocking chair in my same shorts smoking cigarettes, drinking beer while cussing school children as they walk by. Loads of fun.
Europe? I could pay for a month in the Ritz Carlton for what I spend on beer and cigarettes.

I'm with you on those awful things, river. Powder sugar-coated mass-produced monstrosities are to donuts as Twinkies are to eclairs.

However, I do enjoy homemade donuts like mom made. Always brings back good memories.

I've never had a homemade donut although I recall this tiny shop in Oswego, Oregon that used to make the most delicious cake donuts right in front of your eyes.

The Original Pancake House is the best breakfast restaurant I've ever been in in my life. Service is excellent, coffee is excellent and I love their apple pancakes. However, I have to admit that their
Dutch Babies are probably their most popular.
