Summer league is no more than glorified street ball, there is no structure in summer league it's just a free for all. Plus in summer league his teammates were rookies, second year and d league players not players who would actually be playing in the season.
McCollum's scrub sub at PG (I forgot his name) ran the offense much more orderly than McCollum, yet had the same SL disadvantages McCollum did.
CJ had no one to pass to. You are forgetting that he had Claver, Leonard, Barton, T. Rob, Crabbe and Freeland. How many of those players earned minutes this season?
That was an advantage, not a disadvantage. Our blue chip roster should have made McCollum's job easier. We had more draftees than any other SL team. Most teams had 1 1st round rookie and 1 2nd rounder. We had 6 or 7, most entering their 2nd years.
