And I still don't really feel to bad for them, oddly enough
Same here. I have a few friends that work for either Alaska or Delta, only 3 of 5 have seen a reduction in their hours.I feel bad for their employees, who are now not working.

I feel bad for most who are now not working. We need to place Trump in that category this November along with McConnell.I feel bad for their employees, who are now not working.
Are Trump and Moscow Mitch working?I feel bad for most who are now not working. We need to place Trump in that category this November along with McConnell.
Good point, you got me there. Are Trump and Moscow Mitch working?
We get our gas at the Tigard Costco. We pay $2.74, with the 3% discount, this becomes a shade over $2.65 per gallon. We're paying more than $1.06 per gallon more than you. Where do you live, Saudi Arabia?Gas down to $1.59 in my area.

I was born on an Atlanta Army base, Ft. McPherson.Born in Jacksonville (Ft George Island) but I was a military brat...we were stationed all over, San Diego, Memphis, Bermuda, Memphis again, Key West, Albany Ga., then moved out to the country about 15 years ago.

Atlanta was crazy when I lived there 55 years ago.Been awhile but I've been there. Even before this virus thing, I avoid going anywhere near Atlanta...it's nuts trying to navigate traffic up there.
To give you an idea of how far out in the country we live, we're 12 miles from the nearest convenience store, which I suppose, makes it "an inconvenience store".![]()

I remember that we bought beer in one country, drove through a dry county on the way home and arrived home in a wet county. Insane. My father was working as a bricklayer bricking up houses in a development. One day we had to stop by to perform some errand. We knocked on the door and the owner came to the door. During the small talk the owner disclosed that he was an electrical engineer. My dad replied that his son was studying electrical engineering in his first year of college. The guy took one look at me in my dirty clothes and you could see a look across his face as if he wanted to say, "oh, sure he is." in a very condescending way. Well, fuck him, I got both my degree and later earned a professional license which I doubt he ever achieved.

Tell us a story about those banjos you often hear in the distance.
You know what I found interesting was that there was a music compilation from Portland musicians and about 1/4th of them seemed to be drummers. Someone else posted one from france it was like 3/4ths violinists and cellos."Banjos"?...ummm, you're the one who lives in NASHVILLE.![]()
