Sorry, but I have seen Klay give looks of smugness and shakes his heas=d back and forth on plays he OBVIOUSLY commited a foul on, but his smugness thinks he is too good and never commits a foul. No he doesn't flail his arms around like Green, but he is just as rude and above fouling based on his persona on the court whenever he is called for a foul.

TL;DR

Draymond got the suspension he deserved. There is no manipulation/conspiracy by the NBA. If another NBA player got the "Iverson teabag crossover" move pulled on them, I would be surprised if they didn't at least do something similar as Draymond.

My background in sports is fencing in college and the history of the sport has ingrained respect for your opponent and judges. Not to say you don't have plenty of fencers that are unsportsmanlike, but that history imbued in me a feeling of personal integrity and fair play. If you get a touch on you, you say so, if your opponent had right of way, you admit it, etc.

Basketball is not the same! Trash talk, and dissing your opponents in various ways is part of the game and has been for as long as I can verify, the 70s, and probably longer.

If you played ball on the street courts in Oakland or Richmond, CA back in the 80s, and no doubt other cities I can't vouch for but that are no doubt similar, you would know that what Lebron did to Draymond could get you shot at the worst, and at least an elbow to your face.

Yeah, it isn't right, but that is a part of the past of this game and it doesn't just go away because we might want it to.

It amuses me how so many fans will complain about how the game is soft these days, then a player stands up for his manhood by attacking another player, admittedly in a subdued fashion compared to what Rudy T had happen to him, and then gets called all sorts of names.

Draymond flailed at Lebron from the ground and his legs were the target. Baggie shorts these days obscure contact and there may actually have been no contact. He isn't trying to hit Lebron's nuts...

As to conspiracy...

I am loathe to say it, but my respect for someone is inversely proportional to how often they bring up conspiracy. Conspiracy is a serious matter, but for so many people they want to accuse every situation of some ulterior motive.

Draymond fell for the bait, flailed again while having zero tolerance, and got what he deserved. He is a reckless hot-headed athlete that is hated ala Bill Laimbeer and is now reaping the results of that badboy attitude. If another player got tea-bagged the same way Draymond did I would not hold it against them if they retaliated. Absolutely there are better ways of getting back at the guy that dissed you, but in the heat of the moment it is normal for your average NBA player to retaliate immediately. I am not shocked at all by what he did because it is an instinctual reaction to being insulted. His mistake was swinging immediately at the only area that was close to his arm at the time which was Lebron's backside. Due to Draymond standing from a sitting position there was no other reasonable place to attack. Unfortunately for him, due to everyone thinking he has a fondness for nuts based on his past, any graze of that area gets him a flagrant.

I'm not sure who you keep arguing with. Yourself, maybe? I think everyone gets that Lebron provoked Green, and that Green's reaction was common and even expected.

Green has an impressive history of douchery. Many fans like me have been incredulous at how much shit he gets away with. Even with all the crap Green has gotten away with, he has accumulated enough asshole points that this relatively minor incident triggered a mandatory suspension.

Now that the NBA league office has the finals matchup it wanted, and possibly because of the fan back lash from the obvious favoritism Green has received, it appears the league is no longer protecting him. For now.

Although, I'm not sure Silver wants GS to play without Green and Bogut, so I'm not going to hold my breath that Green won't again get away with murder in these last two games.

It's not a conspiracy....the NBA is a business and if people think they don't do things to increase revenue every chance they get, they are not paying attention very well. Superstars are reffed differently, rookies are reffed differently, the Patrick Ewing draft had all sorts of inconsistencies about it, the Lakers and Suns shot insane amounts of FTs all of a sudden to turn the tides of series against Sacramento and Seattle.

None of those are conspiracies....they are just things that happened all with the advantage towards a larger market, the superstars and in the name of dollars in pockets. Same with Tim Donaghy being the ONLY ref to ever bet on games. Really? Refs weren't supposed to bet on anything at all or they would lose their jobs.. Then when an investigation was done after the Donaghy situation, they found that a majority of refs gambled in one way or another and not one of them lost their job as was the guideline.

I'm not a conspiracy buff at all but when they started looking at Draymond and what happened with LeBron (who was by far the instigator in that particular situation even though I think Green is an idiot) a couple of us talking about it immediately thought the same thing.....that he would finally be suspended because it was LeBron involved instead of someone like Steven Adams and that the series was about to be over in a route. No conspiracy....just an opinion based on how the NBA seems to operate and it ended up being spot on.

All of those are conspiracy by the definition of the word if intentional. Some might be explained by human nature similar as the bias one might subconsciously have towards different races when hiring or reviewing resumes with distinctive names bla blah, that is standard knowledge.

Anyway, other than the betting which is more a human nature issue more so than a business pressure as you allude to, show me a single point of evidence where the refs or the owners or any higher up has put pressure to do the things you allege. Any proof will do. Not fishy officiating, but actual proof of intent.

The vagaries of officiating can alter a game and that would be a potent weapon for manipulation indeed. Just find me a whistleblower and not circumstantial evidence and conjecture like, "Businesses like to make money, so they will do anything to make money"

Predicting that Draymond would get suspended proves nothing regarding him hitting Lebron and therefore it was Lebrons status that caused the suspension. If some random like Shumpert was the one teabagging Draymond, he would have been suspended anyway. In my opinion, the microscope was on Draymond so sharply that any sort of possible flagrant call would be upgraded regardless of the victims star power. And not because of wanting the Warriors weaker so that the Cavs could get a game off of a hobbled team.

The Cavs spanked their opponents in the playoffs and not because of refs helping them. They were clearly the best in the east regardless of whether it was good for business or not. Warriors didn't need ref help vs their opponents either. 73 wins is not a matter of trying to create a story, those wins were earned. So the two ’best' teams made it to the finals which doesn't always happen, but more often than not it does which makes perfect sense.

So I am then supposed to believe that there are unwritten rules given to the refs and any other employee who might have some ability to alter the game that if you have a situation where you can "make us billionaires richer", that you have the green light to do so?

Please explain the reasonable logistics of the Draymond nut swipe for me.
