The huskies are playing on pure adrenaline, they look way better then they actually are.

Its early in the season. But I thought Tyner would have much more of an impact.

I am not sorry to say that this game should not even be close in the 4th qtr and we should have started to see some separation by now.

Thank goodness for Mariota. He's pretty much put the team on his shoulders. Cool as a cucumber.

Against this scheme by the coaching staff who are out to prove themselves?

1) Kelly
2) Belotti
3) Brooks
4) Helfrich

This is the type of game that either propells your team forward and you fix the holes in the boat or exposes the teams problems and other teams take advantage of those exposed holes all year long

Not knocking Mariota but I am knocking his coaching staff. Mariotta holds on to the ball far to long and it's by the design of a flawed playbook and play calling.

Very true.

I'm not a hater. But, I'm not seeing much creativity with Helfrich.

The Cougs do always give us problems though. Their offense is unorthodox. I wouldn't read too much into this game. We need the weak off to get healthy.

Coaching staff on both sides of the ball need to call better play and on both sides of the ball.

Not only does their offense give us problems but that fanbase and team HATE the ducks and will get up for that game even if its the only game they look like a division 1 team all year. Kind of like the Blazers vs the Lakers at the RG when we sucked in the mid 2000's

The D just looked like they assumed he was going to get tackled and just stopped playing.

we better not fuck this one up.

I'm with you but don't ask about this game alone but ask what happens when Arizona, Cal, and Stanford come up. This is not looking good. Helfrich was hired to get us through the sanctions because he was likeable and marketable and not a "GREAT" coach; in which is what at this point in the collegases stage is what they need. Simple; we need a big time coach for big time windows and we are in that big time window.

I'm not happy with Helfrich but i'm not going to toss him out until we lose that game we shouldn't have lost or until we just look horrible vs a great team. So i'm assuming sometime this year is when i'll toss him under the bus.

We are missing the "SWAG" of coach Kelly. Those who want to default then I offer coach Bellotii. Those who want to default from those then "Fuck-off" Bellotti and Kelly knew how to handle the risky and hard to handle difference makers.

We should not be sweating this game and it's not on the players mistake' this is squarely a coaching issue.

That was close. Way too close. But our O-line was patchwork and we won on the road. Here's to Jake Fisher and Andre getting back!

Wow, that was a bitch of a game but we got the win.
