Yeah the contracts given out this summer are going to be insane.

And in 2017 the cap will go up another $18 million.

I don't see it. He would be opting out of $23 million. In an offseason with 25 teams having max cap space he is going to get far more than that. I don't think he gets close to that $176mil I'm sure he'd like but he certainly gets more than the $23mil he is due.
