I'd give them Tim and Mayers, that's it.
Are we still in 2009? who cares about Dwight Howard?

Apparently the Hornets are interested in trading for D12. Ya, like he would really resign there!
Not as a regular feature, no. However, it would be nice to have that as another available option to exploit when available.Good points.
If we got him, could that lead to a "dump the ball down" like LA type again? Thereby, nullyfing what we've worked on this year?
If he gets full max, with max raises, and the 5th year. Yup.176 million for Dwight Howard? Holy shit.

It's why KD will go back to OKC this year and become a FA next year when he's eligible for that 10 yr vet max. 40 mil in the 5th year. Whoa.
Interesting. Not sure OKC would even want to sign him to a 5 year deal after next year..
LOL.. Seriously?
...let alone the player the Lakers THOUGHT they'd acquired! Why assume DHo gets a max contract?
He plays gimpy and he's a long ways from being the player the Lakers acquired.
This year or next? Not a chance. There's a good chance that opting out would hurt him financially.

There's going to be too many dollars chasing too little talent as it is. Somebody will pay the guy. Guaranteed.
I don't have any more info than you, but obviouslyIf Enes Kanter can get the money he did why would Howard not in a year with even more free agency money flying around?
Guh! Completely out of the question.eek. Had not realized that Dwight would get the 10 yr vet max in an extension. And then 7.5% increases every year.
His $s would be 30/33/35/38/40 to 176/5 yrs.
Never mind. I take it all back. I don't want Dwight on those numbers.

Yeah I suppose you are right. I was thinking he would be 35 in his last year. He is younger than I thought.
But I wouldn't be surprised if he starts to break down in another 2-3 years.
And we are talking OKC. They couldn't afford Harden
