The team looks ok with a 3-3 record and did not show up for this game.

Didn't watch but I take it team reverted back to a heavy dose of Hero ISO ball again :sigh:

I didn't feel that way. Dame got reinjured early and was slowed. We had our usual issues defensively, but almost everyone on the team missed open shots they'd usually make.

I thought we moved the ball decently, for the most part. This really was just one of those games when shots didn't fall. We even struggled on the free throw line.

Dame is starting to become the Melo of Point guards.m
So you feel so bad for the guy because he deserves so much better because he's the GOAT and now he's your scapegoat? Come on man. I would say you're better than that but...

Don't bother though. It won't be enough for you either.

Nothing will. Consider this the last time I hold your hand and show you the light.

Just listened to it again. Not once did he say injuries were an excuse. Talked about playing time, talked about film sessions, talks about being happy for Nassir, the closest he came to using injuries as an excuse was when he said Nurk is a big part of the defensive presence. He immediately follows the up saying he's NOT using it as an excuse, TWICE.

What's the quote you think he's using injuries as an excuse for us losing? Provide the time stamp in the interview. I'll help you, the last question is the closest, where, again, he says he's NOT using injuries as an excuse, two times.

Lets not just make things up.

When Dame plays that doesn’t happen
That’s why dame needs to watch Washington film and not from the bench. He needs to trust his team mates more and not it take upon himself to take the last shot every time. Even Michael Jordan passed the ball to Steve Kerr

Weird that we have people that are bigger fans of the coach than the team.
what people do you claim to have? I'm a fan of the roster, the front office and the ownership....deal with that devastating personality flaw

Actually Dame Trent and Hoodie bricked the end game shooting...not Melo

We lost the game on that four point play Melo gave the Knicks with his stupid foul, follow up tech, and lack of defense on the following play.

That's the whole point, genius.

He brought up injuries when nobody asked about them. Saying I'm not bringing up injuries as an excuse when the question didn't ask for that is absolutely an excuse.

If you don't get that, then I don't know what to tell you.

And still should be better. Losses like this, OKC, Chicago - gonna haunt us as we play better teams.

These were all games at the start of the season you would think we had a 75-80% chance to win. It's really too bad what has happened, preventing us from taking full advantage.

That makes no sense, he got his teammates open shots, they were just set threes that didn't go down. The difference is what the team does. They just stand around and let Dame do everything. Stotts doesn't coach anything. He just puts guys out there and lets them do whatever.

People act like we're supposed to make all our shots down the stretch to come back from a 10 point deficit.

That's not how winning basketball works.

You're better off scratching off a lottery ticket.

We didn't have it tonight missing to many free throws was problem at time defense wasn't solid. We got out rebound by 10. But the positive note on offense we 2 double double with Kanter and Covington and Dame miss it 1 assist. I thought Dame play good even he was hurting and Trent was solid on offense plus he starting rebound better from his position. I think covington starting to get in a grove what we thought we was getting in trade. But Simons is improving every game leading that 2nd group. But to bad the bench didn't give us more. But my first thought of this road trip I thought would come back with a losing record but we had 3-3 on the road this time and 12-10 record and the way we look on defense majority of the time I will take it and of course I glade my prediction was wrong.

When you're willing to sacrifice the success of the team after mediocre results the coach has been putting out for so long, yeah, you're a bigger fan of the coach than the success of the franchise.

I guess you don't see a difference between the reason and an excuse. You think roster make-up has no impact on performance (for us), but when we play teams that are short handed, you think it's an excuse for why we should win?

This is why I have little faith that Nassir will get any run when he gets back after his 30 point outburst against the Bucks.

Elleby played his ass off, hustled, scrapped and very positively influenced the team.....and the next game doesn't get a sniff.

Not like the Blazers are missing tons of players due to injury either....

Blazers next practice together needs to just be passing the ball and shooting free throws

Last 5 mins of that game provided every opportunity you could ask for to steal a game on the road. Shots simply didn't fall.

Simons looking a lot better at attacking the basket. Once he starts to finish on a regular basis he will turn the corner.
He is already a better backup point guard than I thought he would be. He was looking to pass more than usual. He had 3 assists but could have had at least 2 more if not for missed shots. Not bad for 18 minutes.

He only played because Dame and DJJ were out. No minutes for rooks when guys come back
