With the surprising victory against the 76ers, the Blazers have now guaranteed themselves at least .500 or better on this road trip.

While that's quite an accomplishment, especially when you consider the injuries, I hope the team will get greedy and win this one too.

And hopefully, some of our injured guys get healthy and play this game. But there should be no rush back.

If Elleby gets any minutes, I'm very curious to see how he follows up his career game. His impact on the court isn't limited to his shooting, as witnessed by his 1/5 shooting from the 3-point line while having a great night in the previous game, so maybe it's not improbable that he can repeat the kind of performance that he had against the 76ers.

In any case, no matter who plays, the team needs to go out there and compete. LET'S DO THIS!

I felt the need to note that this is an early game, because the last time the Blazers played one, quite a few posters here said they didn't know it was being played early, so they missed the game.

Speaking of Elleby, he already has a nickname, kind of.

Olshey once said his analytics guys called Elleby "Green Lantern" because his stats/metrics lights up green across the board.

Might be tough to replicate that 103-point win in the last meeting ....

Thanks for the edit.

Before anyone piles on me (*cough HCP *cough), in my defense, I just copied & pasted the Blazers' official game notes. So it was the actual professionals that made the type this time.
Inexcusable. That’s even low for you sir...... to blame others for your mistakes.

What’s our rotation once Nas and Jones return? Nas and Elleby have both earned minutes. Bet we see more of Melo at center with Giles odd man out.

There is an argument here for giving the kids the greenlight on the second unit and reducing the minutes for CJ and Dame in the future.
