No, they are so deep, I assumed they'd be good to go from day 1. I posted this opinion in the AROUND THE NBA THREAD if you want me to share the link FAMS!
I believe you posted that their bench wasnt good. :)

I know better than to take this post seriously.

You recognize that is a pretty rare occurrence. VERY rare.
All I know is the first Blazer game of the season had the front page clogged with two threads you created and bumped during the game. It just proves that when you do it it's fine but when other people do it it's clutter.

Not at all. Some random guy made individual game threads for opening night instead of using the Around The NBA thread. Maybe that was what you were thinking of. I'll leave it at that. I randomly do it in response to moronically created random thoughts threads that are created, as a joke. I'll let this go. Let's just not be so lazy and fire up a thread that clogs this once finely tuned well oiled forum. And bumping a random as thread to keep it alive as a joke once a month is funny if you ask me.

See this post to me just says "I'm @THE HCP so when I do it it's funny but other people are ruining the forum when they do it."

The Warriors have 4 NBA players. Wouldn't make too much of this.

How many times have we done it in 50 years? It does not happen very often. With that type of fire power, and their defense, color me impressed

It's just this main page gets so god damn cramped with random threads man. This shit used to be dialed. I know,"Don't click on the link if you don't want to!"........ but you have too seriously wade through so much crap nowadays. Every time somebody gets a random ass thought they start a thread. A joke one every now and then is fine, but damn.

I suggest that you only click on threads that I start.

I think the only big surprise so far has been the Suns smoking the Kings, not that the kings are a championship contender but most people had the suns as an awful team, and the kings as a borderline playoff team, so beating the Kings by 30 was a little bit of an eye-opener, they play the Nuggets tonight, a win there and that'll be the early story of the season for me.
Gotta wonder what Vlade's got on the Kings' owner. It might've saved Divac's job that Bagley got injured so he can't be compared with Doncic for a while.

Doncic is going to be all-NBA this season - the only mystery is which team.

The Hawks are going to be good enough that that Doncic-for-Trae Young trade might not even be second-guessed.

Not that good. Not yet. Bright future though

I was getting really confused by some posts in this thread until I realized that I'm trying out the ignore function on a few people for the first time. So far, so good. Even with the occasional confusion, I'm glad I missed those posts. I won't click to view them in the future, no point to. I recommend it to other like minded folks.

You know that the first one is by me, having fun?

I do now, my bad. Premise still stands though. Dude makes a crap load of worthless threads. so I find his statement a double standard. I didn't go back many pages, but I could have i'm sure.
Anyhow, i'm strolling where I shouldn't be again. Thanks for the clarity.

I probably wouldn't make sense anyways. :)

Honestly, @THE HCP is having fun - and so should all of us. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy. It's all fun.

Publicly slandering someone is not having fun. Not admitting a wrong doing on someone else is also not fun.

But the Blazers are fun! Go Blazers!

Portland Trail Blazers

Last Year Review

Portland returns to the hardwood this year after an impressive stint last season. They lost in the Western Conference Finals to the Golden State Warriors and clearly needed some new talent to suffice. The Blazers return their core in Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, and Jusuf Nurkic. These three players could guarantee that Portland returns to the playoffs again. Lillard is the clear leader of the team and will need to continue improving on defense, if he wants to become an MVP caliber player. The same thing can be said for McCollum. As for Nurkic, my dude needs to stay healthy, if he can stay on the court, he provides crucial offense out of the post.

What’s New

The Biggest move in Portland’s off-season is the signing of Hassan Whiteside. This may be the one of the most overlooked acquisitions in the league. His ability to defend the paint is a weapon that the Blazers have been missing the last couple of seasons, with him patrolling downlow, the opposition will have to think twice before attacking the lane. Portland has not had a post defender of this caliber since Ed Davis, except Whiteside is more explosive offensively. The combination of Whiteside and Nurkic may boost Portland to the NBA Finals.

Where Will They Finish

Even though the Blazers improved immensely in the off-season, so did the rest of the Western Conference. Portland will lose in the second round because they won’t be able to defend elite perimeter players. Even though McCollum and Lillard are studs in their own right, they can’t stop guards like Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and LeBron James. The addition of Whiteside will help but it won’t be enough to lead Portland to the promise land.

The Hornets are surprisingly not-awful. And they're doing it by playing a bunch of young'uns. So if they could ditch all their catastrophic contracts, they'd be in good shape!

They're losing by 25 right now. I will agree with you in some ways though. I think their young talent isn't as bad as people make out.
