Meyers/Vonleh to PHX
Lee/O'Quinn to PDX
Bledsoe to NYC

It works money wise... but I don't know if we'd have the minutes for O'Quinn. Here's the thing though, O'Quinn has another year left on this contract after this one. Ed Davis, who has been playing out of his mind, is a free agent this summer. If we could replace Davis' production, I seriously think we should look at trading him. There's no way we can afford Davis AND Nurk this summer.

Davis is pretty much playing himself into Plumlee territory. Remember how Plumlee was playing his best ball of his Blazer career when we shipped him out.

How much do you think he'll command on the market?

Considering his versatility, 10m seems like a decent starting point.

And Vonleh is a FA too. And Napier!

Some of these guys will have to go.

I used to feel like I had a good grasp on free agency... but I have no idea anymore. The swing up and down on the contracts the past two summers has made it so hard to look at a guy and say "he's getting x amount of dollars." I was pretty close on how much I predicted for Crabbe, but last summer all the teams locked up their money. I have no idea what will happen this summer. But if Davis keeps it up, he currently has a PER of 27. He's usually an excellent guy off the bench. I'm not even sure who has money this year.

I believe as it stands now there won't even be ten teams with cap space next summer. That actually makes pending RFAs more valuable, so guys like Vonleh and Napier could be moved.

I actually would like to keep Napier.

Vonleh... I just don't think he has a future here. I like Biggie and Collins more, and it's not based on physical talent. I think Vonleh is just as talented as those guys. It's all about mentality. I see zero hesitation when Biggie and Collins get the ball. Vonleh looks scared to shoot. I think Collins is the PFotF. I think Biggie is a great backup. I just don't see much room for Vonleh.

I can't see Napier getting that big a deal. :dunno:

Milwaukee seems the most likely. They could throw in Monroes expiring and have a need at PG.

Denver and Orlando are probably the other two. Both could offer young talent and be able to match salaries.

Any other team and it'd take some maneuvering. Portland has the pieces, especially if they offered Harkless, just not sure about the need/fit.

Why would we trade for bledsoe? He'd get like ten minutes a night with us lol

Not true. If he took both backup guard spots, we could probably match his current mpg, which is 28.

So you're thinking Pat would be included in the trade? Napier and Pat need to play. But if they're part of the trade I'd be cool with that haha

I like Pat and Napier.... but they don't need to play. Not if you have a 3 guard rotation with Dame/CJ/Bledsoe.

Silly thing is, there are so many very good and great point guards in the league that a good player like Bledsoe isn't even that attractive to potential buyers, even on a cheap deal.

Bucks should try for him.

I'd do that. Olshey is probably trying to squeeze a 1st rounder out of the suns too
