Eric Maynors evaluation is complete.

Jordan has some big deficiencies in his game (maturity, and free-throw shooting most prominent). I am not sure he would be in my top 3 (realistic pickups) even if he was a free agent this summer.

His contract isn't max yet I think he is slightly overpaid (all Centers are though).

Check out him against Leonard this year:

Not a huge difference (I am sure his D is light years better though) compared to price. Now if it was only Freeland and a pick in cost cutting move sure. Doubt they do that though.

Maynor's been pretty much 'meh' for a while now. No need to extend him a Q.O., is there?

There should be some decent options available for the MLE that could actually improve the team.

Extending the QO was always a terrible idea to begin with. Dunno why some people even considered it.

How many years have we been saying that?

I think DJ Augustin could be a sleeper value as a back-up PG. His advanced stats are actually OK given his USG, and he is a pass-first guy who can facilitate a bench with a few scorers.

Isn't Jack a UFA? Heck, I wouldn't mind taking Bassy back if he came free with Gortat.

I think Jack might actually get a shot at starting somewhere next year. He's only 29, and for as much as he was hated as a Blazer, has been a fairly average PG for most of his career, and now has an outside shot.

That's the way is must happen, although you can actually have an agreement for the trade. What I've always wondered is why a team never seems to drop out of a verbal agreement like that after the draft. Could a team have second thoughts, and renege on such a trade?

Remember the confusion over 2011 #57 Targuy Ngombo? Minnesota had us pick him for them, but it turned out they didn't get Dallas' pick after all. Stern later had Minny pay us and Dallas each a late #2 in compensation.
