It's all good bruh, and thank you. I accept your apology. I stopped talking about politics on here because 1) arguing rarely changes anyone's viewpoints on either side of the discussion and almost always leads to some form of personal insult, and 2) it wasn't worth losing friendships in game threads on this forum by arguing about politics. I come here for Blazers basketball, not politics or social issues. I had to make peace with myself and accept that there are just going to be people who disagree with one-another, and leave it at that. It's not worth losing sleep over and, for me, it's not worth being a cancerous poster on S2. My blood pressure is high enough as it is, lol.
That's why I don't usually post in the OT anymore. The occasional thread about firearms issues notwithstanding, but even then my opinions are usually the minority, and thus not worth arguing with people about.
I'm VERY excited about the Blazers winning streak! But I do admit to having some trepidation about facing a fully healthy contender. I think that Warriors game just before the All Star break was a fluke; or maybe the Warriors just mailed it in. They're missing 5 rotational players......Portland wouldn't win 18 games in a season if we were missing that many people. Can you imagine having to start Layman and Meyers for any extended period of time?!
I'm eager to see how we deal with the remaining schedule.....we have some VERY tough games coming up. They will determine who we really are. Was this winning streak a fluke, or was it a legit sign that we are finally moving forward as a team?
That remains to be seen. But I am optimistic. Especially with our Lord and Savior Damian Christ playing at MVP level.
