Baze can get minutes at SG and SF so I would not worry about either unless you can get a star player at SF.

As for the bigs, Kanter is very much needed. A center until Nurk gets back is priority #1.

A center in priority #1. If Kanter/Chief/Hood/Curry all leave and Boogie has to take another 1 year prove it deal how do people feel about that? He and Nurk share an agent right? Supposedly we were interested last off-season and I don’t see him getting a multi year offer after back to back injuries.

Well, If we don't sign AFA than we have a shot at Hood and my thinking is Blazemore and Hood don't clog the rotation as much Hood and Turner. I think the Blazers will make room for Hood because he really fits our culture and is versatile. Please keep in mind, I could be 100% way the heck wrong too!

also, his 10 PER is a career worst.

Joined the team late also.

And, his playoff PER of 14 is actually more in line with the rest of his actual career.

So, by all accounts, playoff Rodney is actually closer to his true form.
 
Without reading through this string...it appears the ATL folks believe they got the short end of the stick. Who am I to disagree!

That said, is this simply a 1-year fix, of sorts?

On a complete side note, I'd kinda like to see Robert Covington (RoCo) don a Blazers uni.

Based on how much of practice you’ve seen?

Or what?

I feel like the team probably has a better grasp on his ability to run the offense and knowledge of the offense than any of us do, especially myself.

Is Bazemore a good shot creator?
I hate loosing Hood, Kanter and Curry. You have a creation problem without these players. Hood can score on Isolation, Kanter can score for himself in the post, Curry was most of the time a spot op shooter but he could shot of the dribble as well. I think it's going to be a lot harder for Dame and CJ not only to create for themselve, but they also have to create for other players. A big solution would be Anfernee playing like a 6th man of the year candidate with many assists, we are going to need them.

Poorly written, but I believe he meant that Bazemore is an upgrade over ET, not Hood. Hard to say for sure though.

I miss the days when there were sports editors who cleaned up stuff like this.

My god, you’re not being over the top negative... what has happened today?

Bazemore is not a shot creator, imo, although he can dribble better than Harkless and Aminu.

Why can’t it be both? Dame doesn’t like losing anyone. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t understand it though.

I'm really really really happy ET is gone, belive me buddy, i just think creation could be a Problem next year if Simons is not ready.
