Really fun France-Finland game - Finland had a 12-0 run to tie it up.

Parker decides he really would rather win, and it's all over.

Two of the best players in this game are teammates. Yes, of course I'm talking about Nando De Colo and Petteri Koponen.

It would have been really interesting to see what the first generation of FIBA players could have done over here. We never got to see the full extent of Sabonis and Drazen, unfortunately. I think Nicos Galis not playing in the NBA was a crime. That guy would have been a damn good player....

My team with the dumbest loss so far

Two final second daggers, one in the 4th and one in OT
How do you not foul when you're up 3 at the end of the 4th and the other team has the ball with 5 seconds left??

Biggest upset so far is probably this:

What's with Belgium? They have one of the best young football teams in the world, too. Must be all that beer.

I think that last shot should not have counted, pause at 1:19, his hand is on the ball while the red light is on.
But what can you expect from FIBA...

Spain loses for the second time (in the "group of death") this time to Italy:

A well-known audience member for the Spain-Germany game on now:

(Perhaps nobody told him Ibaka wasn't playing...)

Dirk's last game for Germany. He moved past Galis. Schroder's second great game in a row:

: ( Sigh.... if only we could win like we do in Soccer. (was born in Germany.)
Don't get greedy!
Famous Gary Lineker (greatest English striker of the past 30 years - never mind that Rooney's scored more) quote: "Football is a simple game; 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans win.".

No love for Alan Shearer? Well you're talking to a long time Man City FANATIC here. Colin Bell is number 1 in MY BOOK.
