No questions allowed is my guess. Probably would have got a ton of Comcast questionsThat's it? No questions on anything else? WTF
You mentioned Turners value to our team on the first?Neil said two things that I mentioned immediately on the 1st that were obvious, the need for a 3rd ball handler so we did not have to rely on Mason being the one to help out Dame and CJ, and that part of measuring Evan's value will be how much he helps others play better.
Neil also probably said something he didn't mean to let out.
"....we are a much stronger team with Farouq at the '4. We translate out to a 53-54 win team."

Yeah, that stuck out to me too. Guess we're not pursuing Jared Sullinger.Neil also probably said something he didn't mean to let out.

Both of those are established facts from last season though. But do you mean that we are keeping Al Farouq being something he shouldn't have said?
Neil has gone out of his way NOT to put an expectation of wins on the Blazers. This time it just came right out. Not typical of him, that's all.
Ya, but I trust Pizza GuyI mentioned that it was ridiculous to compare Turner's stats to Henderson's because part of Turner's value would be how he will help Dame and CJ play better. That and how we needed a 3rd ball handler. And yes I said it on the 1st right after he committed to us.
Quite a few hours before Pizza guy told you the same thing.

Stotts is on the hot seat. FACTNeil has gone out of his way NOT to put an expectation of wins on the Blazers. This time it just came right out. Not typical of him, that's all.

Kingspeed, is that you? If Vegas is within 10 wins of that for our +/- I'd be shocked.I think saying what he did was interesting, but not unexpected; we won at a 54-win pace from Christmas on. I think the expectation is pretty inherent in this season that 54 wins is our floor.
That might be 1 standard deviation above our projected wins actually. Personally I think this team's over/under from Vegas is going to be about 47 wins.I think saying what he did was interesting, but not unexpected; we won at a 54-win pace from Christmas on. A lot boils down to the health of other squads. I expect a fall off from OKC (but they'll probably still win 45), but I think Minny, New Orleans, Utah and maybe some mystery team are all much more competitive and giving us a run for our money.I'd still take the over on that, though it's not as much of a slam dunk as last year. The west got better and worse at the same time, in different ways, so I can't say if it'll be harder to assemble 54 wins or not.

Honestly me questioning wasn't what you said. I had no idea it had been that long since he agreed with us.
If they don't get an extension done, then I'm sure they will.OKC needs to trade RW. If they don't, they're even more foolish than I thought.

Well then, buh bye Russ!He already turned down the extension. With the cap going up he would lose money by doing so.
At least per ESPN radio........

It could be that they're more over a barrel than people think. Look at Ainge with the #3 pick, or CHI with Butler.
If you were OKC, how low would you go to get something, anything! back for him?
