I kind of figured that GS would he heavy favorites and to be fair theyve dominated half a decade now so until they get beat they deserve it. Up to the Blazers to rip it away from them.

They are a generational team, with generational talent at pretty much all positions except Center. And their bench isn't too shabby either. I don't blame people for saying they'll sweep us. This is the first time in Dame's career that we've even made it this far. We're without our starting Center, our backup has one shoulder, Hood might be out with an ACL injury, and we don't have home court advantage.

I'm okay with losing to the best team in the league with those odds stacked against us. I think with Nurk we would have a chance, but even then, probably 2 games at the most. I don't WANT to lose, of course, and especially to GS, but I've made peace with it. Golden State is going to absolutely crush any team, probably the Bucks, that makes it to the Championship.

Everything, at this point, is gravy. I will enjoy the hell out of this team even if we get swept. But, with the heart we have shown, we are getting at least one win (and maybe a lot more)!
With the whole world thinking the Blazers have no chance, as a fan I feel the Blazers have nothing to lose.

The players on the other hand, definitely don't plan on losing. They can use being the underdog as motivation to play aggressive yet relaxed.

The Blazers are not an easy out. They will win more than one game.

This series is going six or seven.

Few expected the Blazers to win against OKC or Denver, either. Heck, how many didn't even expect us to make the playoffs before the season.

We're big underdogs. We should be. But the players will decide this. Not the pundits.

Yep. I said it to riverman before the game... But if we won today, which we did, that gets people to notice. That gets free agents attention.

Its almost now a blessing nurk got hurt. Now you can sell the fact that with your starting center out, we can make it to the wcf. Think of what we can do with you, the prized free agent. You can sell that and top free agents can actually buy it.

Will they? Maybe. But do we have a legit shot at a big time free agent in dames prime? I can say for the first time that it is now possible.

So yes, this is all gravy.

Nope, we sweep them. All we have to do is show up and win the first game, and second, third and fourth. That simple. They will be too busy dreaming about the finals against Bucks!

But still, Golden State is the two time defending champs. Gonna be very tough.

It feels different though. Its more because of how good the Warriors are, not a shot against us.

We should be going after the stars that are available this summer. Sign-and-trades will be possible.

I can't tell you how many times I've said "we can't do that" or "we're done" or "it's too much" or "who's gonna step up" or "I'm happy with what we've done" or, or, or, or, or.......

They keep defying. Why, now, would I keep thinking the same thing? I won't. I have no fucking clue how this is going to turn out. None of us do. The Blazers have made that abundantly clear. So let's just enjoy it.

Makes me laugh.
Eventually the Warriors dynasty is gonna end. Somebody will beat them, injuries, attrition, whatever.
Many thought it could be Houston but that didn't happen.
Why not RipCity?
Like Ric Flair always said;
"To be the Best, Ya gotta beat the Best! WHOOOO!"

Actually @Serbian nobody is "laughing at us.....predicting a sweep....or in five....." blah blah blah.
They were actually quite respectful and each had GS in six.
No need to embellish the bias, dude.

I truly find this to be more true than ever. We (Blazers) must think and play one game at a time. No cliche, but an absolute. Tuesday - play their asses off and do everything it takes to win Tuesday.

We can talk about Thursday come late Tuesday night!
