Hey everyone!

I’m thrilled to be part of this forum—longtime lurker, first-time poster. Sports have been my passion since I could hold a basketball (or a remote to watch games). I’m a die-hard NBA/Lakers fan, but I love discussing all things sports, from hot takes to underrated stats.

Outside of spectating, I play weekend soccer and geek out over strategy debates. Hoping to learn from this community, share insights, and maybe even settle a few friendly arguments.

Question for you all: What’s the most memorable game you’ve ever watched live or on TV? Mine’s Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals—Ray Allen’s corner three!

Looking forward to chatting with you all!

@Mediocre Man meet your new best friend!

Getting to the WCF by beating Denver in quadruple OT with Dame playing with a sore core strain, Kanter with one arm and Rodney Hood and ET and CJ willing us to the conference finals..before that it would have been probably drafting Oden and thinking Oden, Roy and Aldridge would be a dynasty. If you're a die hard Lakers fan you must be related to our resident lawn care professional, HCP.

This post tripped our bot/spam alarm, but I approved it to see where this goes.

Also, even if it is a bot, some of you need practice talking to girls.

The post does indeed seem to be trolling as well as soliciting information in the guise of banter from a new member.

Most memorable NBA game I saw live was Portland beating Utah Jazz as underdog to go to WCF in 1999. Rose Garden insane. Rider and Jackson threw jerseys into crowd. Everyone wearing bandaids in solidarity with Brian Grant who fouled Karl Malone's elbow with his face. Leaving arena with everyone honking their horns.

Most memorable baseball game I saw live and sorry Blazers fans most memorable game period was being in the stands when A's won World Series. Back then they let fans turn onto field after team won championship, my roommate and I dancing on the field.

No doubt about it, 1976 Blazers winning the Championship in 6. After losing first two they won four straight to win it all at MC. I was there with a couple friends.

My first impression was, "Wow, someone new joining our community?"

And then I saw your post saying it's a bot and thought, "figures..."

Lakers fan. Check.
Soccer player. Check.

@THE HCP ’s daughter or his wishful daughter-bot.

My friends dad was a big wig with Pepsi and would take clients to games a couple rows back. We were little league teammates and he knew I was a diehard Blazer fan. We had a game and he just casually asks if I want to go to the Blazers game tonight.

Fuck yeah!

It was game 6 vs the Lakers of the 2000 Western Conference playoffs. We beat them handily. Everyone was pumped. We make it to the finals and we’re beating the Pacers. Then game 7 happens.

I was a recluse for several days afterward.

We haven’t came close ever since.

Welcome! Have a great time here.

We need a robotic approach to some of the posters here.

Maybe you can be a MOD!
