Has anyone seen what time they expect this?

Edit: just read mon night

As someone who experiences the Santa ana winds often and have seen what they can bring, take this seriously.

Although it's unrelated (to a degree), this is why I've been an advocate of burying the power lines for years now. One less factor to deal with.

I read last night that Colorado will have a temp drop from 99 to 37 over the next couple days...that's a wind generator

It was 99 here in northern WY this weekend and we have rain/snow mix today. We rode the quads a little way up the mountain to about 6000 ft. this morning and it’s straight snow up there.

lol, lots of people in the valley (including my coworker) have lost power for 24 hours (and still going). Its like 115+ out that way. LA is having rolling blackouts. People are getting fucked in the hottest recorded days in LA History.

Gotta love that renewable energy!

2020: The Season Of The Fire Winds........

I JUST washed my car this morning and it is now COVERED in crap from this wind!

Probably a good idea to move any potential flying objects to a garage etc. Outdoor furniture, hanging plants, umbrella canopies etc.

Unless you have some crap you want to get rid of...

Be safe.

I’ll take this over 2017 when every day was basically a health hazard because of the wildfires in August/September.

It depends on what else we'd get to trade from 2017.

It was clear down here in Sunriver until about 3:30-4:00. Smoky now.

fairly clear in Salem till about 3pm. It's 7pm now and the smoke is thick like fog even though it's windy. We have the house closed up and the AC on

I'm hunkered down in my room and got charged electronics just in case.

The view outside my window is fucking apocalyptic. And since we have seen what 2020 has been like, I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

The combination of 100 degree days with unbreathable air... it was awful. And I had to work outside over half of those days.
