Lucia wouldn't come inside last night. Can't blame her, cooler outside than in. If I could sleep comfortably in garden I would. She came home during the night.

Big fire began when selfish assholes threw gender reveal party during pandemic and set off smoke bombs. I'm sure they had fun.

Stay safe, people and cats. Fuck, even dogs.

PGE preemptively cuts electricity near Mount Hood due to fire risk; nearly 100K in Portland metro lose power amid high wind

The world is ending..... 2nd shooting in the past couple minutes!

My son and his family had to leave /evacuate Detroit Lake at 3am.

Well up the canyon... Gates, Mill City, Lyons... all up in flames.

Bro the wind is blowing here harder than it was last night! This shit is crazy!

Our power is back though luckily.

Mehema, Scio, Stayton, and sublimity are likely going to be evacuated too today Id imagine.
That's the hood I grew up in. Gonna look a lot different the next time I go home. I hope everyone is staying safe.

We've seen no winds above maybe 20-25 mph if that, so far.
Probably because the winds are coming from the gorge. We got trees down over here just around the corner.

We live in West Salem hills and we lost power for 6 hours last night. Several thousand did

this morning, at 8am it looke like the end of the world outside. Darker than the eclipse with a huge dark cloud of smoke hanging about 2000 feet up. It's settling now and the smell of smoke is heavy outside

fires all over to the east, north, and west of us within a 100 mile radius

Welcome fog this morning, but now it's smoke. Red sun behind smoky sky. Not so hot at least.
