Bummer, a Prius
Well, it does kind of fit in with Golden State's defense. You could bearly hear it.
I'd just sell it and net the cash lolGreat. Another f***ing Prius driver on the road.....
car snobs! It's like saying, great, another person bought a new fangled computer...we've got trusty Royal typewriters!Great. Another f***ing Prius driver on the road.....
Nope. I love the concept of hybrids. It just seems like too many Prius drivers are too busy worrying about their mpg and seeing how high they can get it (usually by driving slower than the limit) that they are oblivious to anything else. Or that's my theory and I'm sticking to it. I can think of no other reason for the high percentage of Prius drivers being so crappy. I drove daily from the PDX area to Salem for almost 30 years...and BG's wife drives a Prius...so I am highly biased. But I'd still like to own one someday.car snobs! I love mine...but my experience with crappy driving is different...they are usually muscle cars or hippies in VW microbuses. I don't drive in the Portland area much though...here in logging country..bigger, louder the car...heavier the road rage. The same folks who complain about them being quiet are driving around in Honda's with subwoofers...most annoying thing ever.Nope. I love the concept of hybrids. I drive around in a 92 GMC Sonoma with a subwoofer.I love mine...but my experience with crappy driving is different...they are usually muscle cars or hippies in VW microbuses. Sorry Riverman but, present company excepted I'm sure, Prius drivers (in general) are the worst and most inconsiderate drivers on the road, bar none. It's maddening.I love mine...but my experience with crappy driving is different...they are usually muscle cars or hippies in VW microbuses. I don't drive in the Portland area much though...here in logging country..bigger, louder the car...heavier the road rage. Let me rephrase that then: From my observation I've concluded that a high percentage of the worst and most inconsiderate drivers on the road drive a Prius. I'm sure there are good and considerate drivers who drive a Prius who go unnoticed. But for some reason a lot of inconsiderate dildos drive them. In the Corvallis area if someone is going to cut you off, hold you up, or otherwise drive as if they are the only car on the road or the only person who matters, chances are they are driving a Prius. Time after time.I don't drive in Portland very often but I can't remember ever thinking anything bad about Prius drivers. I think generalizing all people who just happen to own a certain car is pretty stupid though.

Batteries are in just about everything we use...keyboards, trains, airplanes, the militaries vehicles..clocks, watches...batteries are batteries and I've yet to meet a hybrid owner who needed to scrap a battery....you realize laptops, cell phones and desktop computers also have batteries...now let's compare hybrid cars to all the other daily things we need that utilize the battery..why is battery disposal only now the issue? Rubber tires are piled up all over the planet...if you're going to limit your carbon footprint...don't drive or use modern technologyThere are actually many questions as to what the overall impact of a hybrid really is when you take in the full production and future disposal of the batteries.

I gotta ask...what do you drive? There are actually many questions as to what the overall impact of a hybrid really is when you take in the full production and future disposal of the batteries.

I've never driven a Prius, but I always consider visibility when buying a car.Well there you go.
Part of it has to do with horrible blind spots me thinks.
