Trimet is a money suck, so I'm glad they're charging people for their services.

its before a fucking basketball game, where is he going to eat, Ruth's Chris every time?

I didn't realize that my post would be so controversial. My daughters like to play trivia at BWW while we kill an hour before the game, and the 4 games a year they go to with my wife and me, that's where we go. Is that really a big deal?
HULK SMASH!
Eh, sorry that I shared my pregame Max routine with my kids.
Carry on not thinking nor posting about me.
It clearly became more a discussion of BWW, and not about you, but you're so vain, you probably think this threads mostly about you.
Blah. You all got it wrong. If you roll in to downtown just after 5:00 when all the suits abandon post head to the Paris Theater. Or, if that feels dirty, head to Voodoo. They're neighbors. Between 5:15-5:40 their are usually one to three of those oddly slanted parking spots available (about 80% of the time) right there on the corner of 3rd and Burnside. Plug the meter until 7:00 (under $2 total), and venture to any of the endless bars/restaurants/strip clubs/porn theaters. Hop on Max at Skidmore (2 blocks) and you're at the RG in three minutes. It's the only way to roll. And when the game is over and you're good an buzzed, don't wait in the long Max lines to get you back across the river. Do this instead, it's almost always faster - walk towards the grain silo where the huge Blazer "mural" resides. Hang a left to the base of the Steel Bridge. There's a train track down there. Walk the track across the river. It's a fucking blast and it's super fast. Once across the river just hang a left and walk a few blocks and you're back at your car. Warning: trains DO use those tracks (learned that lesson "Stand By Me" style), and watch your step, there are large gaps between the planks. But it's worth the trip.
Buffalo Wild Wings is awful.
You're the board piñata for a reason...
It's ok. C+ to a B-. But is there a better place?
Better wings (regardless of location): Fire On The Mountain
Better meal (downtown for pregame): Rock Bottom
That's Fine For BlazerCaravan (perfect for me): Hawthorne Hophouse
I've been to Fire On the Mountain several times and was not impressed. I think the funky ambiance makes people think the wings are good, but I thought they were the same caliber as BWW. It's easy to let ambiance make one think the food is better than it actually is.

Fire on the Mountain has awesome wings! Better than BWW, no doubt. There aren't as many things for grade school kids to do for an hour before a game, though, at FotM.
:MARIS61::MARIS61::MARIS61:BWW doesn't seem like it's that much better for kids than FotM. It seems very meat-head, fratty, beaverton.

Why are you making such a big deal out of where he takes his kids before games!!
I wish I had a team of trolls to type for me.
We charge 40 cents a word or $60 a hour.

60 an hour for one troll?
