unless he suffered some sort of major injury, this was probably done at his request..

Come on down Farid why not. He can add to the loss columns

They have 14 if they get an exception for Hood. Hoard is a two way. Technically they could probably get one for Collins if they say it's season ending also. Not sure we will see Zach again this year either?

I am pretty sure they are at 14 now since they released Gasol. So technically they could sign two players if they were to receive a exception for hood.

Yeah, you guys are right. We could sign him right now. I have no clue on the tax implications though....

Please no. There's a reason he was in China. Don't let us be the last chance hotel for unwanted NBA vets.

That is 15 with Hood.

Hoard Is Two Way

Having two spots will definitely be a better option.

IIRC, his salary, at least the amount that Portland would have applied to their cap is the vet minimum of around 1.6M (the scale for a vet with 2 years experience). Faried would make more, but the NBA would pick up the difference in scale...his salary would be pro-rated according to the games left in the season, but I think the tax would be 1.62M X 58/82 X 2.5. So then somewhere in 4M range for tax and salary. I might be off i that somewhere

I wonder if Noah has turned us down. I almost hope so, because otherwise I despair of Olshey.
