I never liked Keanu Reeves either until I started watching the John Wick movies. He was made for that role. Of course, it's neither great acting nor are they great movies but they are highly highly entertaining.

You’ve obviously forgot about Jack Elam, especially earlier in his career. Now THERE was the quintessential bad guy. Interestingly, he was a studio accountant until someone thought he make the perfect bad guy.....he definitely looked more like a bad guy than an accountant......

yeah...I mentioned he played bad guys in westerns like Bonanza...he was the 5 oclock shadow cowboy

Yeah, he was one of those guys who always seemed cast as "the bad guy". I do however remember a space movie he did and I guess he was a good guy in that one...can't remember the name of the movie but he was the only one on some space station in the future.

I could never take Jack Elam seriously. He had a comical look about him.
