HEAD COACH TERRY STOTTS
“Well, in the end it looked like a good game, but it was a struggle for most of the night as far as just kind of getting into a rhythm. Minnesota did a good job of changing things up, going with a zone, so it was a game that I felt didn’t have a lot of rhythm. When we were able to get some stops in the second and third quarter, that was important for us. That’s when we’re at our best, when we get some stops and play in flow. I was disappointed with the fourth quarter that they scored 32. I would have liked to have had a better defensive fourth quarter, but it’s important to get wins when you can. It’s hard to be too disappointed with a win.”

On Aldridge’s performance:
“LA was really good throughout tonight, inside, outside, rebounding. He was good every time he was on the floor.”

Thoughts on getting 100th career win:
“I wish we would have gotten it against Memphis.”

On points in the paint for Wolves:
“We did a decent job with their transition. A lot of times that’s paint points. They did get some back cuts. On their offensive rebounds, they were able to convert those at a high rate…I think it’s a combination of things, but they don’t shoot a lot of threes. They’re an inside-the-three-point team, so I think that’s kind of their style. There were some drives. A little bit of everything.”

Do you see a difference in Wes (3rd straight game with 6 threes):
“I don’t know. About a week ago, everybody was asking what was wrong with Wes and why is he in a shooting slump. Things kind of come and go in this league. But no, I don’t see anything different, even when he wasn’t shooting the ball well, he was playing the same way. He’s in a good groove right now and it’s best not to question.”

On turnovers tonight:
“You’ve got to give Minnesota credit because they do force a lot of turnovers. Our passing definitely could have been better, but they were scrambling and putting themselves in position for that. Our passing could have been better and that number should have been lower.”

On Mo Williams:
“It was good to see him out there. I thought he had a good game. He really affected the tempo. I think he was having fun. He enjoyed playing against us and vice versa. Like I said before the game, I think he’s a good fit for them. He gives them leadership with a young team, but he still has a lot of game and he showed that tonight.”
