Appreciate it! That's what we hope to be for people. If they want things sugar-coated (which is completely fine) theres Blazers Outsiders for that. I definitely feel a lot better 2 hours after a loss than I used to!caught your postgame w/ @hoopsjock last night. i needed a similar vent session after that loss. well done

Hollinger and Duncan making fun of Melo and Kanter and also about Terry Stotts. Starts around 41 minutes

Chris Broussard: “I’m not saying this will lead to a championship, and Terry Stotts has done a very good job in Portland – that’s undeniable, but I do think they have run their course with him. You’re only going so far with two small, ball-dominant jump shooting guards who do most of your scoring. You would have said that about Golden State in 2014, but what did they incorporate? More movement, and Steph and Klay didn’t dominate the ball and they didn't over-dribble. They need to find a coach who can get some sort of motion offense because they really got talent.”Chris Broussard joining the dump Stotts bandwagon:

So actually some experts agree with us stupid guys on here?'If you sign better defensive players, but then those players aren't on the court, surprisingly your defense isn't better.'
'They keep playing Carmelo even though he isn't good on either end.'
'Trents minutes keep getting squeezed because Melo is on the court.'
'Why do they keep posting Melo up?'
They make some good fun of playing Kanter and Melo together when trying to make a comeback. Don't think the Blazers have what it takes to get Harden. Takes some little shots at Olshey loving his players.
'Even if Dame goes off, if their defense is that sh!tty, it won't make a difference.'

The only thing he leaves out is that GS does not have two SMALL guards.
The Blazers will win tonight against a bad, depleted Wolves team, and Stotts will get a reprieve for a bit.
Bro you’re all over the place on this post. Sorry.https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...rse-fire-head-coach-doug-pederson-source-says
See this is a franchise that isn't playing around. Now given Stotts has never scratched having a season where he only won 28% if his games but he has probably had a 15 game stretch that went 4-11. I'm not saying that the Eagles are run correctly or that this was the right thing to do with a coach that is only five years ago coached your team to their only championship in the franchise's eighty seven year history.
I'm also not saying we need to do what this thread title is saying to do but one post sighted Jerry Sloan's tenure with Utah as precedence for Stotts' tenure here. Well, Sloan coached a Jazz team that made the finals in his ninth season. If that doesn't happen this season, not only should Terry go but Olshey should go too. The Vulcans or whoever should then hire a GM and coach that have a specific and realistic vision to revamp this roster around Dame to maximize what he does.
We have the talent, I don't think it all fits together but it is enough talent to build a team just through trades (multiple trades) that fits around Dame much better and gives him a chance to win a championship here. We just can't afford any longer, unless this is a season where we are the NBA Champions or at least the Western Conference Champions, to stick with two guys that have proved to be incapable of adapting their approaches in order to get closer to a championship.
Long story a little shorter and possibly more coherent:Bro you’re all over the place on this post. Sorry.
Sure.let me tell you a painful truth
blazers are happy being a playoff team, theyre not disappointed if they lose in the 1st round, the only important thing is that they are competitive and that brings fans to the arena, merchandise and shit, they earn money and its what vast majority of the franchises does, cause theres only a couple of true contenders for the chip every season... thats why blazers wont trade cj mccollum and they wont fire terry stotts, were a playoff team and thats the goal!

When you look at what the Eagles just did as an example of just how competitive coaching in professional sports is and combine it with the idea that the patience the Jazz showed with Sloan is the absolute maximum amount of patience that should ever be shown. I feel we need to make the finals this season to keep this group together.
That all being said, I doubt we make the finals this season, I would love it if we did but I just don't see it happening. If we don't then it's time for a major overhaul that includes the GM and coaching staff being replaced because of both their lack of success and stubborn unwillingness to change and we will need big player moves to be made by the new regime.

Knowing what Paul left her I'd say she's got billions in incentive to honor Paul's wishes....I believe he left a blueprint for her...Paul was that sort of guyI wonder what Jody wants? We know Paul wanted to win a championship, I wonder just how motivated she is doing so?
I got your back Terry! Coach rocks! We're lucky to have him and I hope he retires here with a ring in the Dame era....we're getting closer to looking like contenders
