It’s not enough. He is the fourth or fifth best player at Philadelphia now when everyone is fit (definitely behind Embiid and Simmons and probably behind Redick too, Covington same level). If they fail to get LeBron they would probably trade Saric for McCollum but it also depends on who they get in the draft. If they get Mikal Bridges or Trae Young they have no reason to get C.J.

I understand the many nuances of "Trippin" very well. Yes people are in fact "Trippin" but my feeling is there are ways to "Trip". You can look for positives and ways to fix issues or you can go to the Negs.
My point in my response was that the "Trippin"seems to be justified in some instances. It isn't just this thread or this forum. These kinds of conversations right now IMO have merit. That includes both sides of any argument happening.

CJ has consistently been better than Dame in the playoffs from what I have seen. Maybe Dame is the one that needs to be traded. It's too easy to game plan against him. He's only good at two things: quick drives to the basket and pull up threes. There's no real versatility to his offensive game and he can't get easy points when the ref swallow their whistles in the playoffs. CJ on the other hand, has a dependable mid range, finishes with craftiness rather than sheer athleticism, and breaks down a double team much better. I'd be happy to see him paired with a true pass first PG that is a hard nosed defender.
