Rose Garden Food Service Company Informs Employees Of NBA Schedule Change
Tony Hendryx, the General Manager of Ovations at the Rose Quarter, the company charged with providing food services during Portland Trail Blazers games, issued a company-wide letter on Friday informing employees of the delayed start of the 2011-2012 NBA season.
The letter includes some of the exact same wording as the letter issued by Portland Trail Blazers president Larry Miller in his address to Blazers fans.
The letter also includes a reminder about the NBA's gag order policy.

We appreciate your continued patience as the NBA and the NBA Players Association negotiate a new collective bargaining agreement. Without a new agreement in place, the league has postponed training camps and cancelled preseason games scheduled through October 15, 2011. This includes three Portland Trail Blazers home pre-season games scheduled for October 9, 13 and 15.
The NBA is committed to reaching an agreement that is in the best interests of its teams, players, fans and game. We understand that this process may have an impact on you, and we remain hopeful that a new CBA will be reached as soon as possible.
Please remember every employee is to refrain from making comments about either the Company or any tenant of the facilities. If you are approached by a member of the media, do not comment and contact your supervisor/manager immediately. The NBA's Media Policy prohibits teams and their affiliates from commenting publically on the lockout and/or negotiations.
