Yeah, hopefully the State Attorney can review this case and find some measure of justice.

I understand it can be technically difficult to find an exact charge based on what we see (guy pushing him out of nowhere, Stand Your Ground law existing in the state) so if you charge him with the wrong thing, he can get away. At the least, the guy he shot did move back for a second or two so I dunno? Does that constitute as murder?

I expect he'll be charged by the DA, then crucified by the fake news.

Bottom line, be civilized in your interactions with other human beings and you'll likely live a lot longer.

I know I’ll get ripped for saying this, but.......if the victim’s girlfriend had obeyed a reasonable law instead of being lazy and trying to get over (using a handicapped parking spot just because it was there) the guy would likely still be alive. She definitely should not get off without legal consequences. Doing stupid shit can and does get other people killed......hopefully she’ll think about that the next time she’s reluctant to walk a few extra feet......

If the law really applies... We know he was being chased by an attacker with a gun...

When was Trayvonn Martin within his right to stand his ground and face his attacker?

She should get one thing and one thing only. A handicap parking violation ticket.

If you want to give her something that is. I'd say she suffered more than that violation deserves.

Man's stupid laws are to blame. This guy wasn't a threat when he was shot.

He had his gun out ready to shoot. Dude comes at him then FIRE AWAY.

I didn't follow Trayvon that close and I wasn't there. This one I saw with my own two eyes.

Law needs tweaked if this guy gets away with this.

The law certainly doesn't work for black people... We either get killed by it or put in prison.:

That might have worked well. Doing Whoop Ass on the neighborhood watch was a bad alternative choice.

Just reading it sounds like it is unfair. But, reading further it is just more proof of the law of man being stupid.

It was that a WARNING shot was illegal.

Still doesn't mean the DA wasn't being unfair. Clearly was if what Alexander says was true which it probably was.

Finding a burglar in my own home is entirely different. I'm pro torture in that instance

She fired in the air... If she shot him like Travonn was shot would she have been within her right?

It's not applied correctly at all. He was attacking her and she stood her ground. It's bullshit.

That's what the law said supposedly. I don't think it is right and I'm for the woman in the handicap spot filing a civil rights lawsuit in federal court. I don't know if she will win or anyone would even take the case.

...This ^^^...there's an old saying that I learned years ago,

"There's 2 things in the world that don't last long, 1. dogs that chase cars. 2. people who f' with other people."

And spelling isn't yours. Which could also mean that learning's a problem too...

He was unarmed being chased by a grown man who was ATTACKING HIM... Yous say some dumb shit.

You have the gall to whip out the grammar/spelling police and call someone out for a typo or spelling own after your spelling faux pas?...spiffy.

It's not your job or his to determine someone else's disability status and needs. If you have that big of a problem with it then a picture and a call to law enforcement will do. Most likely these people were jerks taking advantage of the system but it is possible that they had a valid legal need for this and didn't have the temporary card displayed. Not every disability is obviously, many are invisible to the casual observer.

Saw a woman fly through the parking lot at 30 mph. Pull her huge Suburban in taking up two spots, jump put and RUN into Starbucks.

I wished her death. Hope it happened but I would not actually kill her.

That shit really does pisses me off, I also get upset with the overuse of service animals also because it does hurt the people who need it. But utimatly is it really that terrible of a violation? I get more upset at rich people who view fines as a small expense to do whatever they want. People are entitled assholes though and whatever system is in place will eventually be abused but again it's not our place to police this action and I don't really get why people think it is. This is personal for me, I am disabled by legal blindess. What I can see, I can still see well, but I only have about 20 degrees of usable vision. Sometimes I use a cane and sometimes I do not, it really depends on the situation and available light. On more than one occasion I have had to defend myself on the bus to people who think I am faking it because I can surf the web on my phone after sitting down with my cane. I'm always blown away as to what they think I would actually be gaining out of faking, half price bus tickets are about it. But nonetheless they jump my shit over it. I'm lucky that I'm a tall guy in good shape, that alone deters a lot of people, women in the low vision community have it a lot worse in that area. But this situation could literally be me if I got a disabled parking permit and didn't display it, I wouldn't be driving but my wife could be, I could jump out of the car without my cane and get in and out of the store without much issue, but not crossing a busy parking lot would really be useful to me. From your perspective you could easily think I am an entitled assholes who just wants a good parking spot.

Ha! What pisses me off is disabled people having their own line at the DMV. At least the ones in a wheelchair. You get to sit!

Lol, how about fat people who use all the scooters. I do think to myself, do you really need that and maybe if you didn't use it then you wouldn't need it. I recognize that makes me the asshole sometimes, but I will still always give up my preferred seat on the bus for them.

I get scared when thinking that Trayvonn could have been me.

Some of us need it. I can't stand for more than a minute or two. After walking all the way across a parking lot, I'd be too tired to walk any further.
