I get scared when thinking that Trayvonn could have been me.
Think about how I feel trying to teach my son to stand his ground.

That's what I'm saying. Sitting down to wait isn't hurting you unless you can't walk AND have some sort of butt problem too. Some of us need it. I can't stand for more than a minute or two. After walking all the way across a parking lot, I'd be too tired to walk any further.
I guess this means you've already had "that talk".Think about how I feel trying to teach my son to stand his ground.

Saw a nearly six feet tall 550 lb woman walking into the world's largest chevron today. She had to be over 50 too.Lol, how about fat people who use all the scooters. I do think to myself, do you really need that and maybe if you didn't use it then you wouldn't need it. I recognize that makes me the asshole sometimes, but I will still always give up my preferred seat on the bus for them.
How do people get that heavy? It has to be primarily due to genetics.Saw a nearly six feet tall 550 lb woman walking into the world's largest chevron today. She had to be over 50 too.
I was AMAZED at how well she was moving.
5 years ago when I was pushing 500 lbs my mom and gramma were scheduled to come visit. Ahead of their visit I lost 30 lbs or so. Still weighing 430 or so I had to sit on a sturdy ottoman we had to put on my socks. Gramma asked me what I'd do if I couldn't put them on myself. How do people get that heavy? I feel terrible about putting on 50 lbs. since I had to give up exercise. I miss everything about exercise which I love and preach. I felt great and looked great. It put me in a positive and good mood.
There's NO BETTER feeling than after a good workout after you've achieved a good level of fitness. I urge everyone to try it.

I agree on the poverty part. Fat is cheaper than good food.Depression and poverty often plays a big part in that situation. Once you start to slide it can snowball really fast.

There's also a ignorance of the consequences of eating that food that's an important component.
This is a wonderful example of how brainstorming can be a great thing.
Can only hope the DA does something. That guy was looking for someone to shoot. He took advantage of an unbound law to kill someone and get away with it. He is probably bragging about it too. Sickening. And, he is left to do it again.
He was unarmed being chased by a grown man who was ATTACKING HIM... Yous say some dumb shit.
May 15, 2012 - A medical report by George Zimmerman's family doctor, taken a day after the February 26 shooting, shows Zimmerman was diagnosed with a fractured nose, two black eyes and two lacerations on the back of his head.
Where did you get this version of the story?
The story that I read was that the wannabe cop was following Martin because he thought he was suspicious and then Martin jumped him when he went back to his car. He had him on the ground bashing his head against the sidewalk when the dude shot him.
I haven't seen any version of the story where the guy was physically attacking him first.
This is a pretty up to date series of events
https://www.cnn.com/2013/06/05/us/trayvon-martin-shooting-fast-facts/index.html
Whether or not the fucker should have been out trying to be a cop, or not following the directions of the 911 operator and staying in his car, I haven't seen anything that says that Martin was attacked first.
He didn't follow him... He chased him. That's well documented.
From your link:
"He is instructed not to get out of his SUV or approach the person. Zimmerman disregards the instructions. Moments later, neighbors report hearing gunfire. Zimmerman acknowledges that he shot Martin, claiming it was in self-defense. In a police report, Officer Timothy Smith writes that Zimmerman was bleeding from the nose and back of the head."
You're on some bullshit if you believe Zimmerman's account. I don't believe the bullshit police report either. I followed this story INTENSELY did you?? If you did you'd remember they didn't come out with photos of Zimmerman for WEEKS.
They covered that shit up and its fucked up.
...This ^^^...there's an old saying that I learned years ago,
"There's 2 things in the world that don't last long, 1. dogs that chase cars. 2. people who f' with other people."
Sort of like following and confronting someone over a damn parking spot?
...wow, I was simply replying to another person's post which I clearly quoted...maybe you should take time to read what I was responding to and digest and then put things in proper context before judging by inferring what you assumed they meant.
You said don't fuck with people.
...no, I presented a "saying", which was quoted from someone else, period. All 3 people involved were in the wrong.
I simply responded with a comment.
...right.
Nothing intentional.
Don't take it personal, don't get your feelings hurt.
"my feelings hurt"?...seriously?...please
You said 'wow' Then went on to question my reading comprehension.
All because I made a comment which you COULD HAVE CHOSEN to not get your panties in a bunch about.
Instead you projected your feelings in a post thinking I was saying something I wasn't.
At least I found another person to ignore.
What a joy. First interaction with another poster and they get in their feelings.
Have a nice day now yahear.
So much so, they failed in the reply with their quote.
Jesus dude.
Edit - I see why your ratio is so wonky.
If the law really applies... We know he was being chased by an attacker with a gun...
When was Trayvonn Martin within his right to stand his ground and face his attacker?

Sworn testimony under penalty of perjury, and a jury's decision, disagree with your ludicrous characterization.
He was unarmed being chased by a grown man who was ATTACKING HIM.
Lol.
You'll defend any black person getting shot so why should I care about your thoughts on this?
