I can't wrap my head around the fact that most of the Pro Trump people are probably the same people that were like "DAMN COMMIES!" during the cold war.

How does someone rationalize being anti-USSR but also pro Trump/Russia?

The stuff about how Russia has been impacting our voting is extremely concerning.

Obviously not for maris as he says Russia never interfered in the election even though Putin admits to it.

But it's just amazing to me how they have essentially committed an ACT OF WAR against us.... much worse than anything they ever did during the Cold War..... and these people are like "well it's all good because it benefited my team."

These are two different things you know. Russia is not the USSR. No point in treating them the same at all.

Perhaps the interference is way more effective than even they had hoped. Look at our Nation! The first time ever that we did not execute a change over in administrations following elections in the history of our country. This sedition is not a peaceful transition it is corrosive, perhaps permanently. But it is not a thing to go to war over, or for god sake, encourage by whining loudly. Let the man do his job,
perhaps he knows our enemy better than you.

Pleased as hell not to have to do it, but I was ready. It had to be done. I don't see a friggin thing in this little game going on now that is anywhere near the threat to us. Unless of course we make a mole hill into something bigger. I must admit, some are sure as hell trying mightly.

So you don't consider directly tampering and actively working against our democratic process to be an act of war? This is the foundation that our country is built on.

I think Russia tried to interfere with the election. However, their efforts made no difference in the outcome. That is pretty clear.

Actually, nobody can state as fact that votes weren't altered by false propaganda put out by the Russians. Unless you interviewed every voter you wouldn't know.

I did not. I voted for Bush. I voted against Obama. I will not vote for Trump. He's a buffoon. He's a greedy corporate shill. He has zero interest in this country and only cares about himself and his money.

I think Russia knew this. I think they have a vast intelligence network and they could have just as easily destroyed him if they had wanted to, but instead they chose to swing enough people to get Trump into office, because he's their guy. I have zero doubt that they have dirt on him.

Established by who exactly?

If the information that was published about how corrupt the DNC primaries were was enough to get a large number of Democrats to simply not vote at all, that's tampering.

The simple fact is this, none of those fuckers are clean. There's dirt that could be spread on any one of them, but never before has a nation used its intelligence resources to sway an election and get a shill into office.

It's not fear. It's concern. Much in the same way that I am concerned that corporations run this country.

I want to see politicians that actually give a shit about America. Not their jobs. Not their corporate sponsors. And CERTAINLY not about another country that's possibly blackmailing them.

I would think, at the very least, that you would be concerned.
 
It would be a lot easier to believe that all the stuff about Trump is made up if he wasn't such a petulant child on twitter and in interviews.

We have had some of the most honorable and well respected men hold that office over the course of our history...... and right now we have a reality TV star behaving like a reality TV star as our President. I would think that would bother some of you.
