Maybe Minny would be desperate to cater to Butler, and prevent him leaving by moving Wiggins? Turner and Leonard gets them out of a ton of salary. Didn't Thibs like Turner?
God, that Wiggins contract is huge.

If the salaries were the same, I'd be 100% down. Chandler is actual garbage, but ET does not fit in with our style of basketball (nor this era's style of basketball).

Not trying to be smug but is kind of annoying when there are multiple pages talking about an exact subject right above your post and then you come in asking the same question.

Almost every trade of Mozgov had assets attached to it. The only reason this one didn't is because for some weird reason the Bulls just gave the Magic Jerian Grant. So is trading Turner and something else (even if it is 2nd round picks) for Biyombo a trade worth making? I'd say right now we could use Turner's skill set better than Biyombo's.

Biyombo wouldn't help us, but I think ET actually hurts us. He ruins our flow offense and isn't the best shooter and isn't even good at what he's supposed to be good at--facilitating. I honestly believe nothing would be better than ET.

If that is the case why not just trade him for Joakim Noah and just not play him like the Knicks did last year?

Well sorry to be the bearer, etc., but Terry Stotts said specifically that Turner would be more involved in the offense when they interviewed him at Summer League yesterday...

More specifically he said they'd use him more as the distributor with the 2nd unit, not that he'd be more involved.

Seriously! Get rid of Papa G and sign Brook Lopez with our TPE - isn’t this a no-brained? Lopez off the bench behind Nurk would be nice!
