A gun is the simplest and most efficient way for an old lady to make herself as formidable as a large man.

In a gun fight the bigger you are the better target you make.

Sounds to me like guns give a little old lady a big advantage. It's not fair to the large man!

Nah. Just a different advantage. Big man is still younger, faster, and stronger. The gun just gives her a chance and makes him think twice.

id say pick your spots better. Guns aren't a joking matter when someone is trying to have a serious discussion. Just a lame way to post man. Lame. So does this mean any post you have ever made about your Gun stance shook be taken in a joking matter? I doubt that. Ive seen you post very serious opinions. You should know better when to joke and when not to. Its insulting to those who take it serious. Id have more respect for those trying to discuss guns than you do apparently…

As for my post to you, I was commenting on what you said about blasting people before they get close, and observing that there's been several cases recently where a homeowner shot a kid before figuring out that they weren't actually a threat at all. That's the downside to blasting people before they get close. Sometimes the big scary threat that you need to blast with your gun turns out to be a lost kid looking for his little sister.

Thats ridiculous. A home invasion is breaking an entry. And maybe you want the ability to shoot them in the hallway before they get to your children's bedroom or wife in the livingroom.
