I place this loss solely on the shoulders of Nate and his staff.

The players look sorely underprepared, and the offense looks stagnant. (watch Houston offense in comparison. Night/day)

Some of you will say no way, Nate coached this team to 54 wins. Well, I believe it is their talent that is the reason for the growth. Nate's coaching, or lack tereof is coming to light.

We'll see how he prepares the team for game two.

He's been non-existent on defense all night, looks afraid of contact.

He can't even handle Scola so what could he do with Yao?

Joel was doing it all but the refs took him out.
Joel was getting abused. I kind of liked what I saw in Oden tonight.

maybe this will make you feel better:

the last playoff game the Lakers played? they lost by 39

If Joel is going to remain starting (obviously) then he needs to get over his pride and not ask to guard Yao one-on-one. The key is fronting Yao and making the perimeter players start off hot. Yao being guarded solely by Joel led to him getting off to that ridiculous start and gave an insane amount of confidence to the rest of the Rockets team. I mean Yao finished the game 9-9 and this was all in the first half.

At this point we need Ruffin to foul someone hard in front of the Rockets bench and try to draw Artest off the bench LoL

this series is a learning experience. we'll get better as it goes on and then game 7, we'll kick some ass

Well it's been fun guys, sorry bout the game. Game 2 will be fun as well
