is Denver playing tonight?
Bwahahaha... how disappointed are you?
It feels like the sky has fallen every other game, but we're only one loss behind the best record in the league.
But we only have 1 more loss than the Lakers..... I'm so confused bro.Well guys it looks like we’re about a .500 to below .500 team this year. Win 1 lose 1 win 2 lose 1 win 2 lose 2 and so on
But we only have 1 more loss than the Lakers..... I'm so confused bro.
He streaky at times.Trent is not shooting well recently....he's getting plenty of shots
Which column will it go into kid.Well that was a ugly win.
You see that Suns game bro?Yay!!! We beat a horribly undermanned team on their 2nd of a back-to-back, on a missed 3'er at the buzzer. Yay us!!
Went into the W column right?Undermanned compared to us. We easily have way more talent. Wish we didn't struggle against teams like that. Will take the win, but it certainly wasn't a good game.
Pretty much the same win Golden State got from them last night. The Raptors are not a bad team. They have just been on the road most of the beginning of the season.
Would we have needed him to step up in the 4th if he hadn’t played such a huge role in putting us in that hole in the first place?Love how Melo stepped up. Would not have won without him. Glad Stotts doesn't read this forum during the game when everybody was wanting him to yank Melo. Gritty ass win we might not have deserved. Maybe makes up for an earlier loss we didn't deserve?
But that’s just it, he DID! We got a W. Him, CJ and Kanter stepped up. Nobody on the Suns did tonight, and they lost to a G-league team at best.Would we have needed him to step up in the 4th if he hadn’t played such a huge role in putting us in that hole in the first place?
No it's not. We were a -10 with him and only down 5.That is false.
Your original statement was "Blazers were 15 points better with Melo off the floor than with him in the game during the first half."No it's not. We were a -10 with him and only down 5.
International protocols are crazy. At least they get to go back to "What they call Home" and play 8 of the next 10 there with no travel in between. Their schedule to this point has been absolutely brutal with travel after every game they have played. This season the "Home Court" is empty so the real disadvantage is the travel and health protocols. I believe they have a practice facility available in Tampa so i would look for them to improve greatly. That team will be very tough to beat before this season is over. They are playing in Tampa as “home.” Every game is a road game for them this year as they’re living in a hotels and away from their homes in Toronto. First the Bubble and now Tampa. That can’t be easy for 62 more games away from home.
Idk what's confusing to you math wise. He was a -10 at half. We were a -5 at halftime. We're consistently far, far better without him on the court. You're asking me to give credit for his 4th quarter based on something I said at halftime.Your original statement was "Blazers were 15 points better with Melo off the floor than with him in the game during the first half."
Anthony entered the game with the Blazers down 8-13 and Nurk heading to the locker room injured. He left the game down 15 with the Blazers down 58-43 with 2:35 left in the second. Kanter came back in for him.
Now if you wanted to say they were 10 points better i could not argue against that at all. But fact remains he was playing center when the team needed the position covered and they stayed in the game and were down 15 when he went off the court. That is 10 point difference not 15 points better with a player off the court? The raptors gave up 4 fouls and 5 free throws with a minutes left. Couple those with a Lillard driving layin that went and he finally got a call and a Kater put back in the last 30 seconds with a foul on RoCo on a missed free throw. You can make what ever assessment you want of that but that still would not be a fair assessment of what Melo did on the court. Give the guy credit for a game that he filled in and gave the team something Giles could never have done.
So yeah the original statement is "False".
The original statement didn't say that.Idk what's confusing to you math wise. He was a -10 at half. We were a -5 at halftime. We're consistently far, far better without him on the court. You're asking me to give credit for his 4th quarter based on something I said at halftime.
If you would have said that i would have no problem with that statement. Though it would be obtuse to not add the weird ending to the half.He was a -10 at half. We were a -5 at halftime.
We had the same problem with Curry, he was a great shooter and his shot was automatic but he wasn't really involved in the offense.Jones has to take more than 3 shots. I wish we would run some plays for him to post up down low more. Probably more auto than Nurk as he can jump over and score or get fouled. Melo imo got Jones's minutes last night which was fine as he scored form and was aggressive on O.
To me it shows a lack of attention to detail and a lack of retrospection. Possibly a reluctance to give up any control. Doesn't a good coach look back and say "Yes, I should have put Jones in there" and then admitting to himself he can't cover everything in the heat of the moment and then assigning an assistant coach to remind him of things like that.Nice win but a couple of things bugged the hell out of me.
The second was the last play of the game. Aren't those types of situations the perfect scenario for Jones to be in the game?
I don't hate Stotts as much as most, but he drives me crazy when he refuses to play his best 5 defenders in the closing seconds of a game.
You already know that answer big W baby!Which column will it go into kid.
What you guys don’t understand is we could’ve been even worse without him during time. You know, -10 with him but -20 during that time without. That’s why +/- means nothing.Idk what's confusing to you math wise. He was a -10 at half. We were a -5 at halftime. We're consistently far, far better without him on the court. Completely correctRaptors are a much better team than their record would indicate. That is a strong team that will get some home cookin and come back in the standings.
Gutsy win Blazers. Glad they played through the bad shooting.
