Game Thread GAME# 10: THUNDER @ BLAZERS - NOVEMBER 5, 2017 - SUNDAY, 6:00 (PST), NBCSNW

The western conference is crazy. For all the frustrations and concerns we have had so far we are 1.5 games out of first place in the conference. I know its early but the point is the NBA is going to be challenge for every team each and every night. Makes it fun though.

Yea I think there has to be a change up on the 2nd unit. I don't care if Stotts put CJ in with the 2nd unit but I would switch Napier to run that point. So it would be Napier CJ Turner Swanigan or Collins Davis.

Guys look, we have Problems with size and Defense. The okc Players are big and they are 2nd in Defense Rating. Even our big 3 makes 80 points combined, we gonna lose that game. Be realistic, there is absolutely no chance we gonna win that game, the matchup is almost the Same like the bucks, and the last win against them was in 15/16 when we had a run and confidence. I just hope it's not gonna be a blowout, here in Germany we are 9 hours ahead of the pacific northwest. I don't wanna wake up in the middle of the night just to see how the Thunder beats our ass. I would be satisfied if we are not loosing by more than 10. Just my oppinion

At this point, Harkless did very little in his 30 minutes and I'd like to see what Layman could do. 6 points (1 run out dunk) and 4 rebounds. Just not doing much at all. Give Layman that kind of minutes on a regular basis and I bet he does better than that. Plus he can dribble and pass it a bit as well.

If I was into betting, I'd take this bet.
Layman is underwhelming against g-league players. I don't want to see him against real NBA talent.
And I've never been all that high on Harkless.

I don't know if Layman is the answer. He hasn't even earned a role on the 2nd unit.

This game was the perfect illustration of why I would take Dame on my team over Westbrook 10 times out of 10. Westbrook is faster, stronger, more athletic, but Dame is the leader. Dame plays it smart. Give me Dame every damned day.

Of course, we had no chance to win against OKC. We would be lucky to lose by 10............

I'd laugh too if Harkless was doing anything. Since he is doing very little, why not give it a shot like Pops does in SA? He gets contributions from everyone because he plays them all and not just in garbage time. Surprise....surprise, they end up all being able to contribute.
