These shots they’re taking have no chance of going in

We missed 4 wide open ones to start the 2nd quarter. You think they had no chance because of who was taking them?

Well, I'm done watching the game tonight.

This is not the difference between making shots and missing shots lmao.

This is why squeaking by garbage teams means so little to me. How are we going to measure up against an even decent Playoff team? So far, a complete, epic fail. And Indy is dealing with a post trade roster that doesn't have all their players yet.

On the bright side, if the Blazers played D like the Pacers, we would actually be contenders.

Embarrassing half. Blazers continue to play like shit. They go down 20+ and Stotts just stands the fuck around and does nothing. Nurkic can't keep a ball in his hand.

The shots in question are the ones with the first unit in the second quarter.

They've been pretty good...Kanter especially led the league in double doubles..

They typically can score pretty well.

Ant, Melo, Kanter, and Hood are all career negative defenders, so it would be hard for me to say a one sided group (excluding Trent) could be the best in the NBA. I could be wrong though.

my first half thoughts:

* the game fell apart for Portland when they sat both Dame and CJ to start the 2nd Q. Obviously, that was because of the game last night. But I remember hearing incessantly how great the depth was on this team and they can't survive a back to back without looking like boiled owl shit?

* Portland has a 4 game win streak against lottery teams. I was looking forward to this game because this was a gauge of how much progression the Blazers have made against good teams. If the 1st half in an indication, not much

* Myles Turner is only 18 months older than Zach. Sabonis is only 16 months older

I just wish we could trade sorry shit Nurkic. Absolute pathetic. What kills me is that other teams score so easy in paint no resistance but our offense cant create nothing in paint

Hood and Simons playing...

Neither are rotation players — Simons isn’t even NBA caliber and yet here we are.

Sabas is a monster!

Hey whadya know, the Pacers fired Nate McMillan, after just extending him, to hire a new coach. They did a proper coaching search and hired Nate Bjorkgren. They didn’t just sit on their hands and say, “if we fire Nate McMillan, who’s gonna replace him?”

The hole started widening when Ant was given enough burn to go about 4 minutes without a bucket...then everybody went cold from deep...Trent couldn't make one, Covington couldn't, Hood couldn't Kanter missed a couple bunnies, Melo missed a couple....ugly half of hoops

I’ve watched a few Indy games this season. They play completely different than when they had Nate. They’ve always played defense, but Bjorkgren changed their offense to fit the 21st century.

Trent is not playing like he did in the bubble on defense either so that whole group together are not good at all.

Turner and Sabonis are in a whole different league than zach. Waste of pick, same with Simons and swanigan and probably cj mach 2. And for the life of me I have no idea how good or bad Nas is. No one will ever know because stotts chooses to go with a guy that is at like 25 percent of what he once was before injury.
