im so sick of twitter “ pray for nurk” please number 1 fragile like zach both need to be gone by next year. Nurkic was terrible in the bubble and has been way inconsistent this year especially his defense gotten so bad that you wonder is that kanter? But kanter is a rebounding machine who with less minutes gets more RB especially offensive glass. We made it to WCF finals with kanter. This team is all about Dame and CJ both have to score above 25 a game for us to win games because ANT and hood do not look like nba back ups. And trent Jr is either God mode or total bust.

I’m with you I don’t give a shit of Nurkic misses games I’m not a big fan. He’s soft around the rim, goes up weak, never dunks, I hope he gets better but he’s an injury prone and inconsistent

That's now 3 straight games where they get down by 20 points.

Even with their wins in the previous 2, this season has started to become a joke. all the excuses are starting to sound hollow.

They didn't have training camp.

No one did.

They're incorporating a "new defense" and haven't have time to do it.

Bullshit, the Pacers coach is in his first year and their defense was much much better.

Nurk is still out of shape.

hopefully his time off gives him some time to get his head right and his game right. But god damn, this teams defense is so dumb. like they think they can just outscore teams or depend on Dame (and now CJ) to save them in the end.

i'm now off the Simons bandwagon (tho that's probably not the correct phrasing/word). He gives them nothing.

And for fucks sake, Stotts is not the coach this team needs anymore. Unless we want disappointment, mediocrity and disappointment. If that's what you're aiming for, he's definitely your man.

again, it's not THAT they lost, it's *HOW* they lost.

And really, if you count blowing a 20 point lead to the bulls, we have allowed a 20 point swing in 4 out of the last 6 games.

That’s why I been saying the worst thing to happen is us winning these past games in a way. This team at best around a .500 team.

Literally any goof could do what Terry Stotts does. We have no offense. It’s just “give the ball to dame and let him create” or “give the ball to CJ and let him create” or my personal favorite “give the ball to Melo and let him create.” There is zero creativity.

They have two centers on the roster, and one of them is more of a power forward. They’ll need another body. My guess is they’ll sign some young guy on a two way.

The problem isn’t even Nurk. He’ll probably be back in a month. The problem is now Stotts is gonna have to actually coach instead of relying on individual talent to save him. He’s gonna have to make adjustments because Kanter is a different type of offensive player than Nurk. Defensively he’s a liability so....good luck coach.

I have no doubt our guards will keep us going to be a playoff team, but once again something like this cripples our seeding.

Sad for Nurk, but time this team obtained a modern center anyways. A guy who can cover the paint and help on pick and rolls. Two big, clogging centers in todays game is 1.5 too many. I wish they would had gotten into the Harden trade and picked up Allen from Brooklyn. Kanter would be a perfect backup to him and gives us a nice mix centers that we desperately need. Not sure if Cleveland would give him up so soon, but worth a call. Holmes for Sac would be another great fit.

Honestly I'm not making fun and I don't care if it's a typo or just they way you said it but I wish the idiom was "hold the fork down" like when you cut a piece of steak how you have to hold the fork down to cut it. That would be great. Again, no offense I just really like word play like that.
