I think his "status" will depend a lot on how well he can develop his handle. It doesn't have to be point guard level but if he can pause a second to size up the defense he will be tough to stop.

Agreed but I think his potential comes down to his shot. Jimmy B had a broke one early in his career but the moment his jumper became reliable he became a star!
