If Aldridge never left the Blazers, would Portland have a championship by now?

that's absolutely not true...or doesn't last season count?

you and a couple of other posters keep saying we can't judge Ant because of sporadic playing time this year. But he got consistent playing time last season. 21 minutes a game over 70 games. Was it ok to start forming a judgement from that? And seeing how he has played this year...isn't it fair to add that to the judgement made last season, even with keeping in mind the playing time issue? But also that it's his 3rd season?

game threads are a mess of emotion and hot takes...you know that so I don't know why you get upset about it.
is there a single person here who was been anything but underwhelmed by Simons last year?

He has been. Today is the one exception so far. Hopefully it continues.
Yeah but I think two or three of us said you have to keep playing him until he snaps out of it. Benching him doesn’t solve the problem

Now I know why Philly fans use to boo Roco when he played for them lol

Hey Terry, what was your Adjustment in halftime for Aldridge?
we don't need to do shit to adjust. he's making somewhat contested 20 foot jumpshots. let him have as many as he wants.

more important to control guys like Patty and Murray

Of course that is true. But it can at least be questioned when he is playing in front of players that have been playing much better.

then why do you keep saying we don't have enough to judge Simons by?
you are ready to write off a 21 yr old who didn't go to college and is playing a new position for a playoff team, go right ahead.

Of course that is true. But it can at least be questioned when he is playing in front of players that have been playing much better.
Because he’s better than them he just needs (still needs this might be one good game for a while)

That breakaway by Jones is the difference between him and someone like Drexler. DJJ is so slight, he is easily knocked off stride or detoured. Drexler would have made someone trying that nonsense a poster. Both could fly, but Clyde was so strong.
