If Aldridge never left the Blazers, would Portland have a championship by now?

Didn't realize it was an early game.

Glad I missed Stotts' pitiful performance.

Ha, I as about to post the same thing.

I checked the score, saw they were down by 20 and was like "nope, not gonna watch"

I can't really blame it all on Ant. Do the coaches ever work with the second unit and just give some ideas on how people might move and pass?
When Ant is in the game, everyone stands around and expects him to just takeover. There is no movement at all.

that's what everyone does when dame has the ball. but our problem is not offense.

I've had 9 seasons to make analysis.

People like you think the next win magically changes all that.

Interesting, when did I say that?

Hope you've enjoyed the last 9 years, they were much better than the 9 years previous to that.

How do our open attempts compare to other teams?

They aren't coming off much ball movement.

Check where we are/were in assists per game.

I'll teach you the game but I will request funds. Venmo works best.

I forgot you still think there is a correlation between assists and winning despite the data saying otherwise. That's not worth paying for.

I was hoping for, and actually expected, more of a fight from Portland in this game. But they kind of rolled over

Blazers are now 1-4 against teams with winning records. Beat the Lakers but in the 4 losses, they lost by an average of 22 points...YIKES!

Hood had his spin-cycle working in this game. Will be interesting to see if he can sustain some hot shooting. He was moving much better on those shorter offensive plays, but he didn't look so energetic on defense

Tell that to Pop and all his championships.

You must not be reading the data correctly.

I think Dame looks like he knows it's not gonna work this year again.

I didn't make up the data nor did I come to the conclusion. I was originally surprised myself, but the facts are facts. Well, I guess there are people who say the data is rigged when it doesn't match their desired outcome.

If you have a large data set that backs up your theory, please share it with us, I have an open mind.

Seems like in the first the Blazers were running the pick and roll with Dame and Enes with Enes rolling to the hoop and getting easy baskets. Wonder why they never went back to that in the 2nd? 3rd? 4th? quarters

might be that motion increases when players know they have a better chance of getting a pass

Hard to get excited about a team that routinely has to climb out of 15+ point deficits.

You can do it on an off game or two... but in the playoffs you'll get run out of the building by better teams in a series.

Apparently a lot of people since he lost Duncan. The Spurs have been mediocre as fuck.

you ever notice that teams seem to shoot really well against the Blazers, and their teams look like all stars, but when they play against even an 8th grade level defense they don't?

strange, I can't imagine what's the cause of that.

Because Pop made the adjustment.

So, suddenly Popovich became a crap coach? He has done more with less talent than any other coach in the league.

Your point is silly.
