As someone who has studied statistics and work with data for a living, I dunno, I really can't help but laugh.
So you are clearly familiar with the difference between causation and correlation. Yet you're incredulous and my assertion is ridiculous. Alright then.

I hope Trent gets minutes and not in the just stand around and watch CJ variety.

Load Management Dame on games we can’t win like the next game against the Bucks then play him again against the Cavs and Bulls.

I understand what you're saying. I understand you're trying to tie two things that happened at the same time together to try and make sense of things. You should understand how utterly ridiculous your assertion is. Dame is not the first player in the league to get doubled on a consistent basis. If everyone got back spasms every time they needed to work a little harder on the court there would be a lot more guys out with back spasms at this moment.

As someone who has studied statistics and work with data for a living, I dunno, I really can't help but laugh.
Nobody is saying that physical defense ALWAYS leads to back spasms. @illmatic99's contention was that it probably (ie, more likely than not) contributed to them. Your derisive response seems to suggest that physical defense CANNOT contribute to back spasms. "As someone who has studied statistics and works with data for a living", this seems like the less statistically probable stance to me.

I've been saying since the 1st game. You can't run your franchise player into the ground this early. Especially when it's been proven he needs to be fresher for the playoffs.

Our "great" coach just a few days ago mentioned a study in which he claims said that Dame would be fine playing big minutes. So down 20+ points last night in the 4th quarter this fucking guy puts Dame back in? We all can see what is happening. If Dame has been experiencing back spasms since the Toronto game, how can anyone defend Stotts on this?

Dame never comes out in the 1st or 3rd quarters. It doesn't even matter what the game situation is. Why not try different rotations some games? We're 5-9 so it's not like running Dame into the ground got us wins or something.

Fuck, I'm so pissed.

Suggest for Stotts: Load Management Dame and CJ or even Melo next game against the Bucks please.
