I for one would rather the team play so well and they go far enough in the playoffs he gets another year. That or they replace him and the team takes off and wins in the playoffs also.
Either way i would like to see this team have another good season with a deep playoff run.
 
I did think Stotts did a good job tonight with the rotation.
 
well, that got me a little nervous in the 4th Q

Simons fans should be happy with his game...his best outing of the season. It's still too common for Portland to stall when Dame sits. That's not all on Simons though

Melo & RoCo...yikes!...4-21 on FG's and 2-16 on three's. they should get cards made 'Bricks-R-Us'. I wasn't expecting RoCo to be Danny Granger, but I also wasn't expecting him to shoot this bad for this long

I really didn't know who Immanuel Quickley was. Then I realized he was another random player Portland turns into an all-star a couple of dozen times a year

This should be what every Blazer fan desires! Always a sad when people are bummed with a short-handed win.

The number of different rotations and end of game lineups has been crazy this year. Would be nice if this roster had a clear cut top 5, but it doesn't, so this is how it's going to be.
 
I have always liked Randle. The guy has flaws sure but he plays hard on the court. Liked him since College. He was very good in the Tournament.

Yeah, this is an issue. The offense does not need to be run through Melo. They all fed him so that is a coaching issue. With Simons Trent and Melo on the floor, they need to move it around more, they have the shooters.

there has been a ton of talk about how CJ plays when Dame is out. The less discussed side of that of that is how Dame plays when CJ is out. They may be best friends but they don't have good on court synergy

I get what you're saying, but I can't agree. I think they have a good connection.

The unforunate part is that they share the same weaknesses.

So, of the three options other than CJ, who in your opinion has the best synergy wit h Dame: Trent, Hood or Simons? I would think the “trade CJ” crew would be rooting for one of those guys to make a strong showing while CJ is out to make the case to Olshey that he can trade CJ.

Me saying the Blazers were going to win the 2021 championship like Green Bay did the year Jennings broke his leg was also a joke. Apparently a really bad one!
