WHY THE FUCK WOULD STOTTS PLAY DAME 40 MINUTES IN SAN ANTONIO IF HE COULD BARELY MOVE???????????????????

Seriously defend this one if you're a Stotts supporter! The coach is running our best player into the ground.

"Dame I know you are injured but please save my job"

it’s not even that simple. Stotts is getting paid no matter what for the next however many years. He’s set. So there’s really no explanation beyond him being a dumbass.

OK guys... 3-3 road record is not bad then win the next two at home. Let’s Go Blazers!

Whiteside is out and I swear if Stotts puts in Tolliver over Moses....ahh who am I kidding it’s gonna happen.

I’m telling you, why not rest CJ and Melo as well and let the kids play. We are not beating the Bucks anyways so why not rest and comeback strong and beat the Cavs and the Bulls.

what is it about the way Portland has been playing makes you think they can beat the Cavs and the Bulls?

It was Dame's choice....he wanted to play through it. Stotts has addressed this....nice try though..15 games into a season is hardly running a player into the ground but Dame has taken two games off now....thanks Terry! Dame also said not long ago that he felt great....many, many players are injured early this season...I don't blame coaching on that...it just comes with the territory in pro sports

Because that's not how it works. Unless there's a legitimate reason not to play them, they should play. It's pretty simple.

Not sure if I'm going to be able to watch this g league team tonight. We should just put a rec league team out there and take the L.

Nice try? Most athletes who are competitors are going to say they're fine and want to play. It's up to the coaching staff to not burn their players out.

He even said as much. So yeah.
Saying your back is stiff 4 days later doesn't fall on the coach.
KJ, the public found out about it later but Stotts knew before the game and then played him 40 minutes.

Then two nights later with the team down over 20 points in Houston in the 4th quarter and a back to back game in New Orleans the next night he put Dame back in the game. It's reckless.

Lets be honest, the only reason watching Blazers games right now is Anfernees and Nassirs Development

I like seeing that, sure

I like to watch Dame and Hood. Melo will be interesting although that might be more like demolition derby

I hate watching guys taking turns going one-on-one and iso, which has been a habit of the Blazers for a few years. That stretch of about 25 games in 17-18 when Dame-CJ-ET-Napier were all going full iso, possession after possession, was horrible to watch and boring as hell. Skal is ok to watch and if Moses Brown gets some burn I'll be interested

You don't know that. You have no idea what Dame told him or anyone. You are making blind accusations about what Stotts was told and what the trainers decisions were. You have done this multiple times in multiple threads on multiple issues. You ae a fan you have very limited access to anything other than your opinion. What you do know is what Dame has said now that it is 4-5 days later.
Now lets be clear here. I agree with your opinion much of the time. But in this case i do not.
