Nah, he didn't want to overspend on a Mozgov after the Whitesides were gone so he spent the cap on Turner which gives him the flexibility to move one of his other wings at a later date. Say what you want but Crabbe has value. Olshey isn't stupid. He knows we need a center. He just didn't want to overpay for one. That's my take at least.

Crabbe's value is not 18.5 million, neither is Meyers' 10 nor Turner's 17. I'd much rather have Mozgov than any 3 of them at their current salary.

Not sensitive, this board is just a disaster after every loss. I don't really see the point in panicking when we're not even a quarter way through the season. Let it play out. If they suck, well then they suck. And yeah, the schedule has been brutal so far, but those things have a way of evening out.

Who knows how good Crabbe would be as a starter, where he was more of a focal point and didn't have to go through stretches without getting looks. All I know is another team was willing to pay him that and I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if another team took on that contract.

If it does even out then dope. It's just tough to believe when every game has been very lackluster win or loss. I mean honestly I will probably watch the game tomorrow and I hope we win but my hopes aren't high

You admitted he was better than Lowry earlier in the season. Do you take that back after a couple not completely jaw dropping performances?
 
It's a good thing I wasn't in here while watching the game. I seldom drink alcohol, but some of you can drive a guy or gal to drink. :blink:
 
In other news kristaps porzingis is really good and will only get better. Remember when the Knicks fans boo'd that pick? Well yeah..,

We already have players on the team that could take their minutes and we wouldn't loose anything. Napier, Layman, Vonleh....

But here are a few examples of guys who are better that signed for less

Marreese Speights - signed for the vet min and is a much better player than Meyers
Joe Johnson - signed for 11 mil per year and is shooting 45% from 3
Eric Gordon - signed for 12 mil,
 
When Jason quick is out here saying none of the players really have a finger on what's going on and don't know how to fix it, there is a major problem

Crap franchises like the Nets get desperate and over-pay guys. Crabbe is nothing more than a decent spot up shooter. How often does he take it to the rim, he doesn't have much one on one game, and his D is average at best. There are a shit load of Allen Crabbes in the league.

Joe Johnson would of been great out of those three. Speights as well.

Do you? if they knew how to fix it, they would obviously be doing it. it's a personnel issue, and either it fixed it self, or there are trades. I dont get what Quick had to do with anything

Joe Johnson is old, Gordon is too injury prone for 12 million. Would Speights have signed with us? You can't make people sign with us.
 
If you want to know why Dame's numbers have dipped, it's because he only went to the line 4 fucking times. The refs are back to shitting on him. He's still going to the rack. He just isn't getting the calls.

22 points off 8-18, 6 assists, 5 boards, 2 steals. He is NOT the person who you should be picking on.

This is true. Dame got fouled a lot going to the basket and it wasn't called.

I'm just saying because he's in the locker room and can evaluate these players face to face after a game and get a feel on their mood, that's all
