The Knicks the worst 3pt shooting team in the NBA shot 42% against Portland from deep. Portland is lazy as shit on perimeter defense

Pathetic half of basketball

They had 24 good minutes against the Knicks, and were outscored by 17 in the 2nd half.

So maybe this was their shitty 24 minutes...But based on how this team seems to come out of the half acting like nothing is wrong and they're playing great, I suspect this game will either be another irritating loss or they will make a run, get up by 2 or 3, think the other team will give up, and then get down by double digits again.

It's kind of the Terry Stotts M.O.

Am I crazy or is Trents defense extremely overrated?

I've noticed when he gets beat and then Kanter covers for him, he is slow to get back in front of the guy again. Also running down the court alongside the guy with the ball, he doesn't seem interested in getting in front of him. Needs more persistence and consistent intensity.

It's relative. Not very good in relation to good defensive players. Pretty good in relation to most of his teammates.

There have been 133 Game 7s all time. 28 were won by the road team. We're one of those 28. Dame and CJ have written their whole book yet. They have a lot more to prove. Shaq got swept out of the playoffs 5 times before winning a title.

Giles and Ant were even worse when it came to one dribble blow-bys. Agreed, Dame/Melo/Kanter were not great.

Well....We getting destroyed from 3. Muscala became steph. I don’t know what to think but 8 man rotation is very tough to win especially lack of 3 point shooting . Dame and trent only shooters we have. Rest of guys should avoid 3s that includes ant who has been awful from 3 all season

I thought he was decent in the bubble but he was really aggressive but I don't see the same aggressive so far this year.

Ant has been good from 3 last two games with consistent minutes. Melo is a very good three point shooter.
