lets see if Meyers can finally get untracked and have a good shooting night!

he can't control lack of talent.

Bullshit. It's the SAME strategy over and over: run down the court in one giant wave, stop, pass the ball around, and drive into the paint. SAME GODDAMN THING every time.

Holy shit we suck. Vonleh as starter needs to stop, he sucks

Yeah, and if he had more talent it'd be a better run offense.

Then why don't we start Pat Connougton or Luis Montero?

Both players are shooting guards, it's best for the long term future of the team to keep CJ as the starter.

Look at the difference now compared to the beginning of the game. We didn't put more talent on the floor, we stopped playing shitty basketball. We are passing and dribbling with a purpose and players are playing together better. If you want to blame talent, I think Vonleh in the starting lineup fouls everything up. The game is moving too fast for him and he fucks the team up by being too slow on the uptake. He looks like Meyers in year 2.

And this is the night I don't start Crabbe on my fantasy team. Fuck this.

Is Ed Davis incapable of making the first FT? Always misses the first, but usually makes the second.

The Blazers offense doesn't make sense sometimes. LIke why is Damian handing the ball off to Meyers Leonard 30 feet away from the hoop? Then he holds it for awhile and passes it back. What is that accomplishing?

Well Wes is having the best qtr I've seen him play this season...he likes this court

If defended halfway decently, nothing. But it's caught the defense asleep for easy points a few times. Dame is reading his defender. If the defender overplays, we've seen Dame break to the rim for a back door layup. If they trail, he uses the big man with the ball as a screen to rub his defender off and get the ball with some room to attack. Sometimes they give him enough room to get off a 3.

But usually it's just a handoff.

I blame coaching. Why the fuck aren't they addressing this in practice?

Fuck fuck fuck, why didn't I start Crabbe? This really fucking sucks. He's gonna have his best game of the year.

Maybe Olshey is putting pressure on Stotts to play Vonleh, since Vonleh was the centerpiece in the Nic Batum trade. So far, he's not shown any flashes of anything.
