I'm disgusted with the Blazers. This team is on a horrible downward spiral. Wednesday night, we won by 48. Tonight, we squeaked by only winning by 18. Anyone else that isn't horrified by our rapid decline isn't paying attention.

Aminu - Beasting, only Blazer averaging a double-double. Playing way better than last year.

Turner - turning me around. He's playing really well, and a big part of our attack off the bench. Playing way better than last year.

Patty Ficient - The Pacers came after him, to some success. Blazers, however, were +5 with Patty in game. Playing way better than last year.

Davis - may lead league in rebounding off the bench, again. Really don't know why some want to get rid of him. Playing way better than last year.

Harkless, CJ, Lillard - Doin' their thang.

Defense - still looking good.

Rebounding - They have 2 guys who averaged double doubles last season... we still killed them on the boards. I was saying how much better of a
rebounding team we are this season. So far, killing it, preseason, and now regular season, too.

Nurk - struggling, looks like he's lost his identity. It's early, and he affects the game in a way that isn't reflected in the box score, but right now it's not pretty.

Rookies - struggling, too.

He's been back for a few months now, just posts far less than he used to.
But now they he gets to trash Lillard again I expect him to be taking any chance he has to say how shitty of a player Lillard is.
 
In arena notes:

- CJ scored at will.Game is too easy for him against single coverage
- ET was feasting on smaller defenders
- Aminu, Ed, and Patty were ballin
- that was Nurk's worst game as a blazer. Looked really down on himself after stupid plays and forced some junk up. Terry pulled him aside after taking him out to talk for a while. Dame was trying to get him going to no success in the second half.
-felt bad for Meyers. Usually a big crowd for him in Indy and he didn't get a single min of pt

Watching the replay. I love this Turner. Seriously, where was this Turner LAST YEAR?

Did Terry sit outside the locker room with an IPad and Pay the Stones-esque ballad "Memo From Turner" over and over?

I absolutely love watching CJ play. Like you said there are not many players who can guard him.

Nurk needs Terry to settle him down. He takes too many bad shots and is careless with the ball. He started off well. but then after some questionable calls went against him he started to press. I know it is a clientage but he really needs to stop forcing things and just let the game come to him.
 
Man, Nurk needs to give them some of that back or just stay focused. They are going to be grabbing his ass all season.
 
I still can't understand all of the bitching about Colabro and Hurd. I watched most of the preseason games with the opponent's announcing team and finally got to hear the Blazers broadcast today. They are good. It seems people just want to bitch about anything.

Why can't we upload mp4 video files? @SlyPokerDog ? I have the perfect video to share here and can't do it.

At the same time, he had that dribble drive around his defender for a dunk today. If Aminu plays like this, you have to be ok with 1 or 2 moves a night that don't work.

I upload things like that to Imgur.com and then post that link here. Doing an extra step can be a pain but it works.
 
Aminu screaming during that dunk was fucking hilarious. I was watching the stadium feed you could hear it reverberate through the entire arena, and echo back off the foreheads of the zombie-like Pacers fans. What a lame crowd, holy shit. That sweet Oladipo alley oop barely even summoned a response. Our crowd would have blew the roof off the arena.

That was the second arena the Blazers have played in that has been about half full. Things might be different tonight. I'm hoping the Moda is full for opening night.
