Well need to get ready for Denver but what need to shore up is the off ball defense I know alot of times when they going to the rim we have no rim protection the key is always know where the ball is not having your back facing away. But overall we contest a lot of shots and have them forcing shots.

Dude, get off it. You can't tell me the officiating had nothing to do with it.
 
The reffing was pretty questionable tonight, I don't have any complaints on CJ's flagrant, but I do have a very serious complaint on the fact that they called the flagrant on Plumlee for pushing Blake but didn't automatically eject DJ when he grabbed Plums by the throat during their scuttle. The two offensive fouls called on Lillard miway through the game, one when he got pushed by CP3, and the other when he ran into I believe Speights were also just terrible. The CP3 falling over and nearly breaking Aminus ankle and getting a foul was also horrible, in fact I cannot think of that many horrible calls that actually favored us.

That said, the Blazers let their frustrations get to them, and although I can certainly understand why it shows the level of maturity between the two teams. CP3, Blake, and even DJ admittedly kept their calm and soldiered on even through the frustrations of the game. This is pretty much to be expected with a young team without a lot of veteran presence, I think losing Hendo and our resident Caveman may hurt us a bit more than I first was prepared for. Anyway it was a tough game, the Clips definitely got the better end of the reffing stick tonight, by a long shot, but sometimes that just how it breaks - we need to roll with it and game plan for Denver.
 
It was a frustrating game but I would not read too much into it. We ran them close until 8 minutes from finish line, and the reason why they won is we simply bottled it in those last 8 minutes. I wouldn't say they outclassed us, they just showed more experience dealing with the final few minutes of a close game. We had the game at 90-89 and started missing everything from there. We're still a very young team, the average age of the side that took them in the last 8 minutes must have been around 24, plenty of room to improve and I'd prefer to take the positives from the first couple of games. Last night it was definitely a huge game from Harkless, if he can continue playing like that, Vonleh can build consistency to perform like he did versus Jazz and Crabbe is at his best, then we'll be in amazing position.

You could clearly hear Stotts saying "No foul."
But then Reddick turned to Holcamp or however you spell her name and said. "He fouled me."
Holcamp then blew her whistle 2 seconds later.
That's what got everyone fired up even the crowd.. Reggie went silent as well.(his mic wasn't turned off because you heard fan's heckling him. Telling him "you saw what happened, talk about that" Same fans that where chanting "airball" all game whenever DJ was going to the line.)
The fact that Reddick turned to a ref cried foul and got the call.

Everyone has bad nights. This was not a great showing for her.
I've seen her ref fairly and I've seen questionable calls come from her like tonight.
Just like every other ref I've watched on TV.
But yeah, she didn't make any friends tonight in PDX.

Absolutely. One of the youngest teams, and possibly the deepest.
Terry should be keeping the players fresh, and have the whole team pushing the fastest tempo in the league.
Really tired of seeing Dame and CJ walk the ball over half court.

It's evident that Terry Stotts had the worst off-season for us.
No improvement, unrefined offense, crap in-game management and, unbelievably - the defense is worse!

I don't see it that way. Stotts made adjustments at half and we came out rolling in the 3rd quarter. We had two terrible stretches and they both came when Dame went to the bench and CJ/ET completely went clueless. The second unit without Dame still needs to figure things out and that may take some time, but once we do, we will be in good shape.

Even with the two crappy stretches, we were in position to make a run and win, but then came the flagrant foul and we lost all focus offensively. I don't blame Terry for this outcome.

Settle down man. It was one game where out young team kinda lost their composure and it ultimately affected our play. The clippers are a dirty veteran team that's antics unfortunately was backed by the officials. It is definitely going to be a learning experience, and placing blame on terry is rediculous.

I knew she was terrible from the first quarter.

And then to have her with Tony Brothers? Jesus, I knew we were in for an ass rape with no lube as soon as the game started.

That chick sucked a huge fucking dick last night, choked on reddick i guess.
 
I have the hardest time watching the Clippers. In my 30+ years of watching the NBA I have never seen a coach who spends even close to the time he spends in the ears of the refs. Every trip down the floor he is jawing in their ear constantly. Their players get away with telling the ref to call fouls, they complain even when calls go their way... How the fuck do you complain about a call going your way? What do you even complain about?

I get that all coaches and players talk to the refs and complain but the Clippers are on a whole different level in that regard... they never ever shut up.

And don't get me started on their sophomoric jocularity.
