CJ and Dame shot like crap and defense wasn't much better. Simons had a really good game tonight and he was one reason we got back in this game.

Can't dig a hole against the Warriors and win....best team in the league right now for good reason...those guys string runs together like warmup drills.....respect..they are kicking butt

Simons start out badly, didn’t hit a shot in the first half; but he turned it around and played great in the second half.

shocking how far we are from them. i know we are shit on the road, but that was worrisome.

we were never even competitive.
Not true; we were competitive in the first quarter.

So, obviously coming into the game anyone with common sense was expecting a loss but hoping for a win. So I was ready for us to struggle but it's really disheartening when Dame struggles the way he did and we either have no way to adjust or choose not to.

of for fuck's sake... we're playing in utah next?

can we just not bother, take the L, and fly home instead?

Please don’t bother me with stats.
I watch games. I don’t need a stat sheet to know what is happening.

I watch too. It’s clear that Curry outplays Dame by a huge margin this year, much wider than Curry’s teammates out-shoot Dame’s teammates.

So far the Trail Blazers are very good playing at home. To simply say "they aren't very good" (at least for now) is misleading. These "aren't very good" people , where are they for the home games?

Are we at the point of “addition by subtraction” with CJ?
We don't have to be. CJ is respected enough around the league to at least get another rotation player for him... if a team had the right needs we might be able to get a starting forward for CJ and RoCo.

I'd hope we could get a starting forward for a guy we thought we good enough to give a max deal to and another guy we gave up two 1st round picks for.

If our starting 2 and 4 can't get us a starting 4 in return, we're really screwed up.

We'll only find out any of this shit if Olshey gets sent packing.

it was in the 2015-16 playoffs, after the Blazers beat the injured Clippers that Portland played the Warriors and got beat 4-1. There was obviously a huge gap between the quality of the teams, but there was hope that Portland could close the gap with some good management and cap utilization....and maturity

5 and a half years later, the gap between the two teams may be even wider than it was in 2016. The flaws Portland had then they still have now. Their trajectory has been flat. Dame was 26 then; he's 31 now. Olshey has been the author of that flatline, but hey...he's 40 million richer now.

by the way, "it's not the roster"

Tough part is he's stripping the team of future assets. The next GM will have an aging core, few team friendly deals, and short a pick or two. All to field a sub-par team now.

BLAZERS UPRISE POSTGAME SHOW!
The Blazers lose to the Warriors and are now 1-9 on the road this season. The only team worse on the road is the Houston Rockets. Come chat about the game with us!

Warriors win a few titles, suck for a couple of years, then come roaring back. Meanwhile, the Blazers just keep chugging along in mediocrity.

Right now Portland doesn't even have a GM! You think NO will lift a finger to help this team during/after this investigation? NFW. I am convinced he will take the team down with him. No trades, no picks, nothing. This team is not any better than it was years ago, as was pointed out. There is no excuse for not being able to improve when you have a loyal superstar. No excuse other than incompetence, hubris, or apathy. Take your pick.

TEAM NOTABLES:
  • Golden State improved to 11-1 at home, the league’s best home record… The Warriors record of 17-2 also leads the NBA… Golden State has won six-straight games, its second-longest streak of the season (seven), sweeping its three-game homestand.
  • The Warriors have won 10-straight at home, all by double figures, matching the second-longest such streak in team history (1/10-2/25/17), trailing only an 11-game streak during the 2016-17 season (12/22/14-1/23/15)… According to the Elias Sports Bureau, this is the 19th time in franchise history the Warriors have won 10-or-more consecutive homes games and the fifth time since 2014-15… During the current streak, the Warriors are outscoring opponents, 118.5 to 98.5 points per game and outshooting them from the field (.493 to .407) and 3-point range (.375 to .317).
  • Golden State remains the only team in the NBA to have scored 100-plus point in every game this season.
  • The Warriors have won 32 of their last 39 regular season games dating back to last season.
  • Golden State made a season-high 54.0% of their shots from the field, surpassing Monday night’s previous season-high of 52.5% vs. Philadelphia… The Warriors are 6-0 this season when shooting at least 50 percent from the field… They also sank a season-high-tying 47 field goals (11/5 vs. NOP).
  • All Warriors starters scored in double figures for the first time this season.
  • Golden State dished out 30-plus assists for the 12th time this season, including the last three consecutively.
  • The Warriors improved to 4-0 in games in which they shoot at least 50 percent from the field and record at least 30 assists.
  • All nine available players for the Warriors saw action in tonight’s game... Andre Iguodala missed his seventh game of the season and fifth-straight due to right knee soreness… Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody were assigned to G League affiliate Santa Cruz… Damion Lee missed the game due to personal reasons… Jeff Dowtin Jr. was also with Santa Cruz… Klay Thompson (right Achilles tendon injury recovery) and James Wiseman (right knee injury recovery) have yet to play this season.
  • Up Next: The Warriors travel to Los Angeles to face the Clippers on Sunday, November 28 (12:30 p.m. tip-off).
